I would be extremely grateful if every man watched this short documentary on the story of one of the greatest Formula One drivers ever, Lewis Hamilton. It shows what happens when men are present in the lives of their children and the kind of sacrifice needed from a father...

Also please ask peeps to watch King Richard movie. I was surprised when the black community did not make any noise about that movie which shows the role of a father in the success of the Williams sisters in the world of tennis.

Great learning point. As a Zim father pursue migration if you can, to give your children more opportunities in functional countries. Be there for them Being slayqueens, vendors and being invited to rallies are only certain opportunites for kids now.

There are a lot of successful sportspersons too, who were brought up by single mothers. This generalisation is outdated, bro.

Dude, nowhere in my post did I say it is exclusive, this Zimbabwean Whataboutism is so unnecessary especially from someone like you. Saying religion grounds people doesn’t mean there are no grounded people outside religion. Your intervention speaks about our curriculum which breeds argumentative folks! Whataboutism detracts from the main point.

Awesome story, Lewis is the GOAT of Formulae1, with 7 world titles and 1 was stolen from him. From humble beginnings in Stevenage to the greatest driver of all time. This shows if you have self determination and drive you can be who you want to be. I watch F1 because of him.

Yes Present, supportive and strong father figure... It's not enough to be merely just present. Having a weak and unsupportive father can have the same consequences as that of an absent father.

Succinctly put. All men need to know there’s ONLY ONE PLACE they are guaranteed to be HEROES if they put in their best efforts; it’s in the lives of their families. To show up everyday for your kids, wives and your first nuclear family (that raised you in/with love) is HEROIC

Do you remember this powerful moment from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air? Will Smith's character confronts the pain of his absent father, expressing his determination to succeed despite the abandonment. Will vows, "I’m gonna get through college without him. I’m gonna get a great job without him and marry me a beautiful honey and have me a whole bunch of kids." This heartfelt declaration reflects his desire to follow the success sequence and break the cycle of paternal absence. Smith's character's emotional plea, "How come he don't want me, man?" echoes the longing and confusion experienced by many who have felt the absence of a father figure. It serves as a reminder of the profound impact fathers have on their children's lives. 97% of Millennials who follow the “success sequence”—that is, who get at least a high school degree, work, and then marry before having any children, in that order—are not poor by the time they reach their prime young adult years (ages 28-34) Through the success sequence, individuals can strive for a different future, one that encompasses education, career success, fulfilling relationships, and positive parenting. This scene speaks to the resilience and determination of those who refuse to let their circumstances define them. It underscores the importance of taking control of our own destinies and becoming the parents we wish we had. By embracing the success sequence, we can strive to create a different narrative for ourselves and inspire future generations to break free from the chains of the past. #Fatherhood #SuccessSequence
