i wrote a script that finds a random youtube video and downloads a tiny fragment from the middle and generates a looping sample and then repeats the process over and over until your hard drive fills with garbage

maybe someone should turn this into a website. or is it a bit dodgy legally? im not going to do it because i hate web development

the MAX_SEARCH_RESULTS variable isn't used i think it was just left over from when i tried to do things using the youtube api. if i remember right you can do ytsearch2, ytsearch3, ytsearch4, etc... to return more video results with yt-dlp

If you add a parameter for someone to select how many videos this would be so sick to mess around with and sample Would it name the file the yt link or video slug? For appropriate crediting
