#IanMcKellen on relating to his role as an aging painter in Steven Soderbergh’s “The Christophers”: “I don’t really connect my life with his, except that he’s getting old — and I am old,” McKellen said. “The future is uncertain- but no, it’s certain. I’m going to die. And that... show more

In the same fashion that Harry Sisson “handled” a bomb threat to his University, he and his buddies are trying to “handle” me, too. They are attempting to destroy me with an old document that they don’t understand from over 10 years ago. The trolls have inundated my feed. This is an attempt to distract you from the undeniable truth regarding the inconsistencies in Harry’s story. Or perhaps it’s to pull attention from NYU. If anything Harry said is true, it would mean that his University mishandled a bomb threat and placed hundreds of lives at risk. I’m exposing that and I will continue to do so. And they don’t like it. These are powerful people. And this is what someone can expect when they go after the DNC, and any of their operatives. If Harry Sisson thought I was being too aggressive in my work of exposing him before, he and his buddies just woke a sleeping giant. I am going to DESTROY Harry.

Elijah Wood honors Peter Jackson at #Cannes before his "Lord of the Rings" director receives an Honorary Palme d'Or. “I was 18 years old when I first met Peter Jackson. He had come to Los Angeles with Fran Walsh for an ambitious new project. He had seen a VHS tape I’d made with friends in the woods of Griffith Park, and now they wanted to meet the young man who had sent it. I walked into Victoria Burrows’ casting office and there they were, Pete and Fran, together as they’d been almost everyday since they met in the late ’80s. And when, a little while later the call came that I was going to be Frodo Baggins, I sat down on the floor of my bedroom and I understood with the whole of my being my life had just been divided into before and after. And I know I’m far from the only person who has had their life changed by Peter Jackson.”

Danny Green is disappointed by the Spurs decision to fire Jacob Tobey over cheating allegations: “First and foremost, I want to say I love everything the Spurs do and how they operate as an organization. They run a tight ship, they don’t deal with no BS, and they don’t like drama. So I understand certain issues they’re going to be like ‘No we can’t allow this’. To me, this was not one of those issues.. With social pictures, we don’t know what the timetable of it was, if he was with this girl or not, or if he was even dating his girl at the time while he was with this girl. This girl could have made it up and she hacked this, you know, social media and she wanted to ruin his life and you allowed that to happen. He’s a really good dude, great person. I thought this was a foul. I’m not happy about it, really disappointed in this decision.” #GoSpursGo #PorVida

Robert Barnes (Robert Barnes): I talked to Rick Sanchez earlier in the week, and he said that Lavrov, the Russian ambassador, told him that the Trump they met in Anchorage doesn’t exist anymore. They said they had figured out by December, when the assassination attempt on Putin’s life happened, that Trump wasn’t all there. There were times where Putin had conversations with him where Trump would sincerely feign a lack of knowledge of what he had said in Alaska or what he had said two months before. The Russians concluded that part of the reason they are backing away from negotiations — but not trying to deliberately antagonize Trump — is that they think he’s not all there. They think they are dealing with someone who is a little bit off the res, mentally and emotionally, and his decision-making capacity, rather than his cognitive capacity. And I think this is what has misled the world about Trump: it’s not the same as Biden, so it’s not that he can’t remember words; it’s that he can’t process emotions.

Just In: Elon Musk just claims he can see the future and history will prove him right. "I am very good at predicting the future. I am not perfect, but my success rate is very high for a human being. This creates something of a Cassandra effect: people do not believe what I say is likely to happen, because I can see the future with a higher probability of success than most people. That includes outcomes that may seem counterintuitive. I am not saying that I am always right. I certainly am not. But my success rate is very good. The Cassandra effect is that people do not realize what I am saying will come to pass. It may not happen exactly when I expect it to, but it will happen. History will deliver the verdict, but I think you will find that very little of what I have said is inaccurate. A large majority of what I have said is accurate and will come to pass, unless the direction changes."

Ed Harris says he felt “misled” about his “inconsequential” role on “Dutton Ranch,” and that halfway through filming Season 1, he was telling his team to “get me the f--- out of here.” “Prior to signing on for it, I was talked to quite a bit about what the season was, and what my character was going to do — and that I was one of the four main characters,” Harris said. “And that wasn’t really the case... I said, ‘I’m feeling underused and inconsequential,’ and they kind of went, ‘Oh.'” Harris explained that when he actually watched “Dutton Ranch,” he thought it was “pretty good,” and he felt his character was “relatively important to the story.” However, during filming, “it didn’t feel that way.” “I’m being told my character will have a little bit more to do [in Season 2],” he says. “I was just a little frustrated, to tell you the truth.”

To quote Donald J. Trump “They went after this man and when I heard about it I said nope, not gonna happen…” “They persecuted, they destroyed 5 years of his life, he fought for 5 years of his life and he did nothing wrong, and he’s a good person…” Thank you Mr. President, this is truly an amazing moment for me and my family!!

"I’m not sure what happens really when I am not here. I do not want to guess and just start imagining things. I do what I have to do while I am here and I am doing it with the people of this country as not only you have seen but also what you’ve just referenced, what has happened in the past. I don’t think there is Kagame only, there is Kagame with these people you see, we make progress because we are together and these people, the Rwandans, contribute a lot, make things happen, I only provide leadership as by their choice and I am sure when I am not there, there will be another choice they will make, the choice that can even lead them better without ruling out the fact that yes, things may not be good as they have been but that is life, that’s what happens." Chairman Kagame | Press Conference.

AOC: I also find the freakout around it pretty funny as well. I’m not gonna lie. A commentator that was like, “What she’s doing is peddling the dangerous lie that women can have it all.” Can you believe that? What I find funny is that my choice is a threat to them. Despite the rhetoric they use and the bald eagles that they plaster all over the place, they actually really do not believe in a free country. You do not need anyone’s approval to lead your life and make the choices that make you happy. They talk about being pro-family, but all of a sudden when a 36-year-old talks about having a baby, they’re mad. How many male members of Congress are they freaking out about having kids after 40? The president had his last kid at 59. Life happens. And people say you’re peddling this dangerous lie that women can have it all. You know, maybe in life you can’t have everything, but here’s the secret: You can have a hell of a lot. And I am very grateful for my life. I go after what I want, but maybe that’s what they don’t like either. Too bad for them.

“When people were saying in the testimony, that the hope they have is that what happened here 30 something years ago will never happen again. It won’t, not because those who were responsible for that dark past will not try again or are not even trying now again. It will not happen again just because there will be people who will stand up and fight. It’s not because there are fewer people who wish for us to perish or who would have wished for this country to disappear. How can people accept that? What kind of people do not stand up and fight? There is a risk of dying when you stand up and fight but if you don’t, it’s a sure thing: you are going to die. So why don’t I try to stand up and fight with the chance that I might survive and live life as I want it, instead of giving up and you let people treat you as if for you to live, it is a favour that they are going to do for you. Why? But my message goes to other Africans who live like this on a daily basis, who are dehumanized and they accept it and they beg. I can't beg to live. I can't beg anybody. We’ll fight, If I lose, I lose. But there is a chance. There is a chance, a significant chance, that if you stand up and fight, you will live. And you will have lived a dignified life that you deserve, that anybody else deserves." President Kagame | #Kwibuka31

Nikola Jokic says his goal after basketball is for everyone to forget he ever played so his kids remember him as a dad "I really, when I finish my career, I really wish nobody knows me. And I really wish my kid, or kids in the future, really remember me as a dad, not as a basketball player." "That's going to be my goal in life... Just to live in the moment, be a normal person. Go drink with your buddy, go have lunch, go play with the kid, go drive horses and nobody's going to make a big deal of that."

“This isn’t a debate about vaccinating your child or not. My 6 year old was vaccinated and hasn’t had issues, hasn’t been a sickly child, & never had any type of reaction. My 2 year old and 6 month old went for their wellness checks last week and both got the vaccinations they were due for. The way my heart broke in that drs office holding my 2 year old down to a table and letting someone stab a needle into his leg 3 times while he held my face and screamed mama to the top of his lungs is something I will never do again. Ever. I decided right then he would never get another vaccine. My 6 month old cried most of the way home then was PITIFUL the rest of the evening. I am his comfort, his only want and need, and even I couldn’t console my baby. It’s a no for me. I’m not as knowledgeable as a lot of my peers or my friends who don’t vaccinate their children, but I know enough to decide that I am comfortable not letting them have anything else injected into their little bodies or have to essentially torture them by holding them down to receive a shot full of God knows what. I say all this to say, if you vaccinate your kids, GREAT! If you don’t, GREAT! I don’t care either way! Again, my oldest is vaccinated. At that time, I thought that was best for him, for us. Six years and 2 more kids later, I no longer think that. And that’s okay. Here’s to doing what you think is best for YOUR child and trusting your mom instincts instead of just going along with it because it’s what your parents did for you, or what the drs tell you, you HAVE to do.” - Kaitlyn Wilson - ✍️
