ICE agents lawfully executing an arrest warrant at the Kane County Courthouse in St. Charles, IL yesterday. They clearly stated they had the warrant and told the crowd to back up. An activist got in their faces, repeatedly screamed “Where is your warrant?” after being told they had one,...

🚨BREAKING: in Chicago, ICE agents illegally entered Bridgeview courthouse, tackled and detained a man, and it all happened while Cook County deputies stood by and allowed it. Illinois law, and a Cook County court order says, federal agents are not allowed to make civil arrests inside courthouses unless they present a valid judicial warrant. According to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, ICE agents claimed they had a warrant… but did not produce it. Despite that, they still entered the courthouse, handcuffed a man in the lobby, and removed him from the building. Then, in the video, a deputy is seen shaking hands with an ICE agent, after the arrest. And when the person filming questioned the legality of what just happened, another deputy shrugged, and said, “Isn’t being here illegally a crime?” Which… no. Being undocumented in the U.S. is not a criminal offense. But, besides that, instead of upholding the law, the sheriff just assumed… and potentially allowed a kidnapping to happen. The Public Defender’s office says no federal criminal charges have been identified, and the man was reportedly there for a deferred prosecution hearing. Earlier that same day, ICE also detained a woman, and a small child, outside the courthouse, which the Public Defender’s office called a clear violations of state law. So, the questions, everyone needs to be asking, are this… If there’s a law banning this, a court order banning this, and no warrant is even produced when asked… how is this still happening inside a courthouse? And why are the very people sworn to uphold the law, standing by while it happens?

🚨ICE agents illegally threatened to tase a PASSENGER for refusing to exit a vehicle… after lying about having a warrant for him, in Lennox, California. In the video, the agents repeatedly insisted they had a warrant for the passenger, demanded he get out of the car, and threatened to tase him if he didn’t comply. But, when the passenger continued to ask to see the warrant, the agents suddenly asked for his ID. After running his identification, they decided to change the story… Agents then started asking the driver for their ID, despite admitting they did not know who they were dealing with. When questioned, one agent first claimed they had a warrant for the passenger, then admitted they were “writing it right now,” before finally acknowledging, “I thought it was you.” So, to break this all down… ICE agents threatened to tase someone over a warrant they didn’t have, for a person they hadn’t even identified. The Fourth Amendment exists for a reason. Government agents do not get to detain whoever they want, threaten force, demand identification from everyone present, and just figure out who they are dealing with later. Because that’s illegal. If ICE had a valid warrant, they should have been able to identify the subject of that warrant before threatening someone with a taser. And if they didn’t know who they were talking to… then what exactly was the legal basis for the detention, the threats, and the demands for identification? This is why people are outraged. And every time this behavior is excused, it sends the message that ICE agents can ignore constitutional rights, threaten innocent people, and walk away like nothing happened.

🚨BREAKING: Border Patrol agents illegally smashed through the glass door of a locked auto body shop, without a warrant, to detain the shop owner and an employee, in West Valley City, Utah. Yes, agents are violating the Constitution all over the country, not just in Minnesota. In the video, two agents are already standing inside the body shop when the owner’s wife asks them the most basic, constitutionally required question, “Do you have a warrant?” …after they broke in. They illegally ignore her request and instead tell HER to stay back. She continues demanding to see a warrant. And then they say the quiet part out loud: “We don’t need one.” They absolutely do, which is exactly what she tells them. They continue ignoring her, after illegally breaking into a locked, private business, while ordering her to back up inside her own workplace. The agents then begin questioning the shop owner and an employee, despite not knowing their status, and having zero probable cause. She tells them, “My lawyer is coming, do you want to get sued?” And the agents laugh. Sit with that. Border Patrol agents force entry into a private business, without a warrant, and laugh about accountability. The agents admit on camera that they broke the glass door to enter the private property. She says that’s why you had to break in… “Because you don’t have a warrant!” And the agent says again: “It’s because we don’t need one.” They detain the shop owner and an employee anyway, after breaking in, without a warrant… despite both men having no criminal records. This is a blatant Fourth Amendment violation. A locked business is private property… where a warrant is not optional. If this is tolerated, it sets the precedent that federal agents can smash their way into ANY business, detain whoever they want, and disappear them. That is not law enforcement. That is an open assault on constitutional rights.

🚨BREAKING: ICE agents in New York illegally surrounded two cars and demanded the people inside prove their citizenship. Community members showed up and immediately started asking the questions ICE never wants asked on camera: “Do you have a warrant?” The agents claimed they did. But when people asked to actually SEE the warrant… they refused. Because they didn’t have one. That’s the constitutional violation right there. In the United States, federal agents cannot legally detain people, block their vehicles in, and demand proof of citizenship without lawful justification. The Fourth Amendment protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures. You don’t lose those rights because ICE decides to profile you. And unless agents have a judicial warrant signed by a judge, or actual legal probable cause tied to a crime, they cannot just trap people in their cars fishing for immigration status. ICE keeps counting on intimidation instead of law. They surround cars with multiple agents, act aggressive, throw around words like “warrant,” and hope people are too scared to question them. But the second community members demanded proof, the whole thing fell apart. Both cars were eventually released… because ICE never had the legal right to stop them in the first place. This is exactly why people recording matters. This is exactly why communities showing up matters. And this is exactly why constitutional rights matter… especially when federal agents are acting like they don’t apply to them anymore.
