ICE agents smashed a car window with an axe and forcibly removed 29-year-old Juan Francisco-Mendez, a Guatemalan man who has no criminal record and who was awaiting his final documentation to solidify his asylum status. His attorney says he is not the man the agents were looking for. Francisco-Mendez's... wife, who recorded the incident, said it was terrifying to see ICE agents smash her husband's window and forcibly grab him in front of her.When agents approached Francisco-Mendez in his car, they were asking for a man by the name of Antonio, a person who used to live in his building, according to his attorney. Francisco-Mendez told them that it wasn't him. In a statement, an ICE spokesperson said Juan Francisco-Mendez "is an illegally present Guatemalan alien." "During the course of his arrest, he refused to comply with officers' instructions and resisted apprehension. ICE concurs with the actions deemed appropriate by the officers on the scene who are trained to use the minimum amount of force necessary to resolve the situation in a manner that ensures the success of the operation and prioritizes the safety of our officers," the statement says.show more

Breaking: An illegal alien rammed an ICE vehicle in Harrisburg and shots were fired after officers confronted him at the scene. Officers walked up to the SUV and ordered the driver out immediately. One warned he would shatter the window if the man refused to comply. When the driver stayed put, an officer smashed the glass. The driver then sped off and slammed into one of the unmarked ICE vehicles as he tried to escape. An ICE spokesperson confirmed the illegal alien weaponized his car by ramming the agents. As he pulled away, an officer drew his gun and a gunshot rang out.

In the video, ICE agents have the man completely boxed in with vehicles, surrounding him on multiple sides while he films the encounter. One of the federal vehicles is backed directly against the front of his car as the man asks who is going to pay for hitting his vehicle… The agents ignore him, get in their cars, and drive away. Think about how insane this is… Federal agents boxed in an American citizen based on how he looked… damaged his vehicle in the process… then fled the scene once they realized he was a U.S. citizen. If a regular person hit someone’s car and then drove away, they would be arrested and charged. But, for ICE agents… it’s just another day.

The police department would not assist the agents with the arrest due to the “California Values Act” which prohibits local law enforcement from assisting immigration officers. The Dems cry about the raid and these tactics ICE may be forced to use, they should step back and remind themselves that because of the lack of cooperation , all of this is deemed necessary.

ICE did NOT target a child. The child was abandoned by his father when agents approached on a targeted operation to arrest an illegal alien who was released into the U.S. by the Biden administration. As agents got out, the father fled on foot and left his child behind. For the child’s safety, one ICE officer stayed with him while the rest apprehended the adult.

"One of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism," the statement reads. "An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers."
