ICE detains mother dropping off child at elementary school—refuses to even look at her U.S. legal papers. "What documents?" agent sarcastically replies—holding up the folder. "The ones in your hands!" witnesses yell back. Agent admits to being an immigrant himself—and says "yes" when asked if he purchased his vest on Amazon. A different masked kidnapper is wearing no type of ICE uniform at all—just a green sticker ID that he says he bought for "his safety." The incident occurred across the street from Madison Elementary School in Santa Ana, California. #DemsUnited

🚨DHS tried to put a man in prison for 20 years because an ICE agent cut HIS OWN arm after smashing a car window in San Antonio. And not only did a Bush-appointed judge throw the case out… he said the entire stop was “largely fictional,” and the HSI team had made an “unjustified arrest,” with “excessive force.” He pointed out that agents had no warrant, no evidence the Honduran man even had a removal order, and only asked about his immigration status after dragging him out of the truck, assaulting, and handcuffing him. Agents claimed the 35-year-old was a threat to them… but the judge said the evidence showed none of that. Instead, according to the body cam, Carl… the ICE agent… looks like he just shattered the window out of impatience, then cut his own arm and tried to pin it on the man. The judge warned that letting this indictment stand would basically give immigration agents carte blanche to ignore the Fourth Amendment, which is supposed to protect us from unreasonable searches and seizures. Translation: DHS lied so baldly that a conservative judge had to step in and stop them. And if he hadn’t, an innocent man could’ve spent the next two decades in prison… all because ICE couldn’t admit they screwed up.

This incident is much bigger than it first appeared and I’ve obtained all of the available video. ICE agents detained an illegal alien and as they were taking him away, a relative with a bloody nose tried to grab the detainee. In the second clip, one of the group reaches for the firearm of an ICE agent and gets punched in the face. The agent says one of the women assaulted him and he had to wrestle with the torta for several minutes before she was finally detained. I’m waiting for a statement from ICE on the incident.

FACT CHECK: ICE did NOT apologize. We explained to school officials how the illegal alien violently resisted arrest and fled into the vicinity of the school. ICE leadership coordinated with school officials and the Governor’s Office to ensure the situation was resolved safely and with minimal disruption to the community. The illegal alien, Jesus Acevedo-Sanchez, now faces federal charges for resisting and impeding federal officers, and destruction of government property. A second illegal alien in the car during the operation punched officers and is now facing federal charges for assaulting a federal officer. To be clear: ICE does not target schools, but we will not allow criminals to hide in our nation’s schools and put the safety of children at risk.

🚨BREAKING: An ICE agent was just caught on video violently shoving a TEENAGER to the ground, in a Chicago suburb. But it gets worse… In Joliet, IL, ICE agents jumped out of their cars, racially profiled a man, began handcuffing him, and forced him into an unmarked vehicle that had its license plate covered. And they did all of this before even confirming who he was. As U.S. citizens began recording the incident, ICE agents started forcing them farther back, even though they were not interfering with the arrest. One of the agents looked at a teenager, who was just standing there and filming, and said, “Step back a little bit.” The teenager wasn’t interfering. In fact, a woman was standing even closer. And then, without warning, the ICE agent violently shoved the teenager to the ground. Moments later, another ICE agent pulled out a taser and threatened the legal observers, despite them remaining away from the vehicle, and not interfering. And after all of that, about 20 minutes later… ICE released the man they had kidnapped because they realized he was not undocumented. Think about how insane that is… A man was detained, handcuffed, and taken away before ICE even confirmed they had the right person. That’s exactly why the Fourth Amendment exists… to protect people from unreasonable seizures by the government. And then there is the issue of an ICE agent shoving a teenager to the ground… Using significant physical force against someone, especially a teenager, who is not posing an immediate threat, not resisting, and not interfering… is excessive force. Federal agents do not get a free pass to assault teenagers because they are standing nearby. The First Amendment protects the right to record law enforcement in public, and government officials cannot use intimidation, or force, to silence people who are lawfully documenting their actions. This wasn’t just about one man being kidnapped…. It was about everyone standing there. A teenager was thrown to the ground. Legal observers were threatened. U.S. citizens exercising their constitutional rights were intimidated. And an innocent man lost 20 minutes of his freedom because ICE believes they are allowed to kidnap anyone they want. So, why are these ICE agents not being held accountable?

"And it wasn’t until midnight that he finally flipped his badge over to reveal it said ICE on it," said her sister Gia Calero. An officer present at the hospital questioned them about their immigration status, but the family says he did not identify himself as actually working for ICE. She states that they were told they would get an answer from "the ICE officer," and that it was not until around midnight that the man flipped his badge over to reveal the "ICE officer" had been him the whole time. Not until this moment did they realize the person they had been dealing with was an ICE agent all along. Mother: Grace Stephanie Calero Cabanilla, 39 years old, has a pending asylum case and a work permit. Daughter: Giulianna Mía Carriel Calero, 19 years old, has a visa that the family says is valid until 2030. You can’t make this stuff up! Woman faces 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000 after she pleaded guilty to punching a trooper during a Jacksonville traffic stop after she mistook the trooper for an ICE agent. Jennifer Cruz, a mother of four and a business owner, has also been charged with 14 state crimes, including battery on an officer, resisting an officer, and driving with a suspended license. In January, Cruz, who was acting as an activist, was filming and tailgating a car and a marked patrol car. She followed the trooper to a parking lot, where she started yelling at him. After the trooper found out that her Florida driver’s license was suspended, she drove away. After Cruz was stopped again, she refused to hand over her keys, telling the trooper she was “ready to fight.” When one of the troopers tried to grab her keys, Cruz punched her in the face, causing injuries to her nose and fingers. Cruz continued to refuse to comply with law enforcement, and while being escorted to the patrol car, she tried to kick the same trooper she had punched earlier. Later, when officers tried to secure her in the patrol vehicle, she kicked an ICE officer. Cruz arrested and transported to jail and later released on bail. Later she was arrested again after being indicted on the federal charge.
