They knew they were in this country illegally & had plenty of opportunity to get some type of visa. Obviously they have no respect for the US & its laws.

My reaction is Democrats did this! If there's anyone to blame for being heartless it's Democrats, who were willing to use other humans as political pawns. It's their schtick - illegal migrants, children, women, blacks, there isn't someone else they wouldn't throw to the wolves for their own benefit.

Follow the law, don't be these people. My wife is a legal immigrant. I've worked in foreign countries legally many times. Be legal. It's easy.

So, every criminal who cries and hugs their child for the benefit of the camera should be free to go and continue committing crime? Is that what we’ve come to? That’s not justice! It is possible to enter the US legally. That’s what this man should’ve done instead of choosing to knowingly commit a crime which he knew could lead to the separation of his family. He alone is responsible for his choices, just like all the rest of us.

Take your family to Mexico, or come in legally. I’m pretty sure if you don’t self-deport you can never come back. So instead of waiting to be caught leave and come back the right way

They can leave as a family. Not so traumatic for the kid. Don’t be selfish. Take the family!
