I wouldnt tell her about her sibling passing just because of the potential of a set back ... tough spot cause I'm sure they want to make funeral arragements and she might miss that if the family decides not to appraise her.

You have to tell her, it’s her only sister left. It’s going to be more painful when she hears that everyone kept that a secret. She already lost 6 siblings, she knows how to handle this.
