I gotta do it to this young man again. nick wright everytime you speak on this I will destroy your argument. Kobe just went to 3 straight Finals and B2B chips with players not nearly as good as Peak Wade. And just to ensure Lebron would make it easy to finally win his first chip, they added a Franchise player in Chris Bosh as a 3rd option. AND HE STILL FOLDED. Kobe was winning back to back FMVPs with Pau Gasol as his second option. And Lebron was losing the Finals with peak Wade and Bosh as a 3rd option. There’s no way in Hell Lebron was better than Kobe between 2008-2011. Because 2011 he proved he wasn’t even better than Dwayne Wade. Go home Nick Wright. UNCUT HOOPS embarrasses Nick Wright This one here is an all-time classic. Nick Wright made the claim that LeBron's 2013 season is peak over any Michael Jordan season. Uncut rips Nick's claim limb from limb, showing that 1991 Jordan doesn't only dwarf 2013 LeBron, but also 2012 and 2016 LeBron. This is embarrassing. I think that Jordan became less and less comfortable with LeBron’s place in the basketball ecosystem as LeBron started getting closer and closer and closer to becoming the people’s choice for greatest player ever. I always felt one of the reasons Jordan embraced Kobe was not only did Kobe model his entire game and at times his persona after Jordan, it was very clear relatively early that Kobe was never going to, like Kobe’s ceiling in the eyes of the majority was going to be second to Jordan. And so Jordan felt comfortable putting his arms around him. There was no threatening of his stature. And it’s not lost on anyone that people had been trying to make the last dance forever. That footage had been around forever and Jordan did not okay it until two days after the 3-1 comeback against the Warriors. The story is that it was the day of the Cavs parade that Jordan finally green lit that.
