Ichigo using Bankai for the first time

Best bankai release ever... .@retro_anime

The first time Ichigo said Bankai the whole atmosphere changed 💀🔥

Anime: Bleach (2004) - Episode 58

Peak! Watching this moment for the first time hits different 🤩✨

Rukia Bankai Beautiful and elegant ❄️🧊🫰🏻

"That little thing your bankai?" went so hard as a kid. You knew he was cooked but we got peak

YOU DIDNT SHOW THE FLASH STEP

Why tf did he turn around? 🤨

Makes me wanna rewatch the whole show again but the first two arcs are so damn slow lol

This is the version I wish @Fortnite used for his in game transformation!

Wow. I did not remember his first Bankai taking over a minute. Was cool when it finished though.

The music sounds like a pokemon evolving when the dust clears 😅

the way his coat flows is still burnt into my brain. absolute cinema.

Watching this on my CRT monitor back in 2005-ish with fansub was so peak (Limewire for the win). Early Bleach and Early Naruto were so damn cool!

I mean.... Isn't it implied that he obtained it during the special hyper training he did the previous 3 days?

Love this anime, but it cracks me up how like right here this was the biggest show and did all that, yet when he uses it now it's like he's sneezing

I remember when this episode refused to leave my head for a whole week. I kept repeating BAN... KAI 😂

I remember this scene blowing my mind. I'm fact, every time I hear the word bankai, I think of this moment

この頃の卍解の言い方いいな。 だんだんと卍解の言い方うるさいくなってるのよ😅

When Bleach was good 😩

Easily the best Bankai transformation from Ichigo

@minindemamae aura

Nothing gives me chills more than that word

I swear Ichigo was never this fast again. Maybe it was just faster opponents but it seemed like he got his speed nerfed after this scene.

This isn't just the moment of transformation. It's him rubbing it in Byakuya's face that he achieved his Bankai, it's Byakuya's disbelief that it happened, his pride as a captain and as a shinigami being directly attacked! And Ichigo knew this, hence his smile!

Crazy to think it’s not even his real bankai

PEAKKK 🔥

Still my favorite form for Tensa Zangetsu

@hideonfakerr

still gives me goosebumps every single time

I loved the music and the "whale" sound when it showed, it was so awe inspiring...! 😯👍

So nostalgic, the best bankai
