There's an old an appropriate saying in the legal community: "Justice delayed is justice denied." Really, COPA? Two years to investigate a complaint of this nature? One that could have and should have been handled in a more timely manner. And what about the two years of a cloud hanging over the officer's head - possibly affecting her career negatively as well as causing her needless stress? Remember that COPA is operating in violation of Illinois State law.

This woman was overstaying her welcome at a store where she was getting coffee. They called the police. When the cop showed up, she couldn’t find her key to leave. At that point, she was trespassing. When she got out of the car with bags, she mentioned there was a gun in one of them and a struggle ensued. What made a woman with a Corvette, seemingly homeless, with a gun react this way?
