WARNING: Disturbing content. Surveillance video secured by CWBChicago shows a lifeguard shooting two teenagers near the Douglass Park swimming pool on Thursday evening. A 15-year-old died, and a 14-year-old was badly injured. Lifeguard detained, but not charged at this point.

Here it is from the sergeant's point of view... You are about to see a Chicago police sergeant come within an inch or two of being murdered. CPD later found another resident of this building on the same floor had been murdered by the guy who gets killed in this video.

ICYMI: Officials have cleared a #Chicago cop who killed a man who tried to rob her of her gun during an off-duty confrontation in 2023. She stepped out of her apartment building to help the man after he got beat up by 3 people — but he turned on her and tried to take her weapon.

Just in: The city today released bodycam and other materials from the fatal shooting of CPD Officer Ella French and the life-changing shooting of her partner. COPA said this was done in response to a FOIA request. This is from Officer French's body cam:

NOW: COPA has released video of the fatal shooting of CPD Officer Krystal Rivera by her partner, Carlos Baker, during their foot pursuit of a suspect. This is a clip from Baker's bodycam. We have ended the clip before it becomes graphic.

CPD bodycam video from the traffic stop during which Officer Ella French was killed. This is from her second partner, who chased a passenger who ran from the car. The shooting occurred while he was cuffing the individual. When he returns, he shoots the killer, Emote Morgan.

(DISCRETION ADVISED) Video of an ATF Task Force officer shooting a man in suburban Chicago after agents were allegedly targeted in a robbery. Prosecutors have dropped charges against the man because allegations in the complaint are significantly different from what is seen here.
