If a federal judge can make a ruling about SNAP, why can't she also demand the democrats reopen the government? Republicans want funding for SNAP but they also want funding for the military, FAA air traffic controllers, SBA and everything else.

Democrats fear the far left radicals in their base much more than they fear air traffic controllers, Border Patrol agents, and service members missing paychecks. They’re more worried about losing their own political offices than they are about AMERICANS GOING HUNGRY. EVEN THEIR OWN ALLIES — the largest federal workers union and the Air Traffic Controllers Association — are BEGGING them to stop the political games and pass the House’s clean CR funding bill to reopen the government. Democrats have an off-ramp. They just need the courage to take it.
