If AI could disrupt half the workforce, we can’t wait until people lose their jobs to act. The companies profiting from AI should help cushion the disruption. That starts with taxing the data centers powering it.

If Henry Ford had been forced to bail out every buggy-whip manufacturer before selling a Model T, we’d still be riding horses. Innovation creates new industries, new jobs, and new opportunities. That’s how progress works.

Every technological revolution disrupts jobs. Warren's solution isn't to help people adapt. It's to find a successful industry, stir up fear, and justify higher taxes. And she wouldn't stop AI. She'd just make it more expensive for the people who need it most. The wealthy, large corporations, and governments will still have access. The people priced out are workers, students, startups, and small businesses trying to use AI to get ahead. If this logic had existed a century ago, she'd have proposed a tractor tax, a computer tax, and an internet tax too. Fear of change becomes the excuse for making opportunity less accessible.

Elizabeth Warren's solution to every problem is the same. Tax it. Company doing well? Tax it. Technology advancing? Tax it. At some point, you'd think she'd try something else. 😏🇺🇸

"Tax the data centers" is not a workforce strategy. It's a talking point. If you actually care about workers navigating the AI transition, talk about skills training, education reform, and economic growth. Punishing innovation helps nobody except our competitors.

If taxes went to helping people maybe but let’s face, it’s going to quality leering instead.

Taxing the data centers does nothing when the taxes go into government pockets and get diverted to idiotic plans. This is a government and econicm structural issue you people should be fixing instead you are here grandstanding like you need more tax money to do what you need to do. You do not without starting. Stop feeding people lies and bullshit.

How about using AI to increase government efficiency and reduce the taxpayer burden of running the country? Maybe even work with ai experts to review the budget & find some redundancy to remove or cost efficiencies? Give it a try. Or create a job for me to do for you.

Stop trying to control everything, Dizzy Lizzy. This is no concern of government. It's called private enterprise, of which you're clueless You far-left clowns screw up everything you touch, so just butt out!

Sen. Warren, your AI data-center tax is economic malpractice in a compassion costume. AI isn’t killing jobs - it’s a massive net creator, lifting blue-collar wages, exploding GDP, and locking in America’s lead. Taxing the infrastructure behind that boom just slows innovation, spikes costs, and hands the future to China. This isn’t “proactive government.” It’s textbook socialism: punish the builders, redistribute the scraps, and make everyone poorer. And why obsess over new revenue for your pet causes when you block every real effort to cut the waste, fraud, and abuse already drowning our programs? Plug the leaks before demanding more water from the golden goose. Let AI flourish under lean rules. Markets allocate the gains. That’s the proven American path - not your failed redistribution fantasy.

Think about it. She has been saying the same thing for decades about other technology innovations. Her answer is always to regulate and tax the heck out of them. How about we help people learn new skills with AI so they can keep their jobs or enter the marketplace with the latest skills they need to compete?

And how will taxing actually help with the problems you are describing? You take more money from corporations, so they hire less people, so you need to spend more money on welfare?

Instead of just taking the money through taxation, why not engage those corporations to directly organize and sponsor alternative job training to skill up the labor force for those with a high probability of job loss?

Well if I were going to build a data center I would buy an island outside of US jurisdiction and use satellite to serve the demand. You will cost us billions in jobs and infrastructure because of your hunger for power. There is not enough printed money to satiate Democrats.

It will not happen overnight. It will happen far more slowly than your limited intelligence can imagine. In fact, it is probably not going to happen any faster than the rate at which people leave the work force through retirement. Stop immigration, and you solve two problems at the same time.
