We just found out that Ken Paxton, the most corrupt politician in Texas, has taken nearly half a million dollars from data center companies. That explains why as Attorney General, Ken Paxton ignored our neighbors in Hood County after they asked him to help temporarily block the construction of a data center in their community. Texans cannot afford a senator who's bought by big data centers. In the Senate, I will fight to stop data centers from being built in our communities if they cannot meet the most basic demands of those communities.

China is our adversary. They are building more power than we are, and then using it to power data centers to advance both economic interests and of course military as well. The AI data centers coming to our communities are driving up the cost of utilities and have the potential to cause adverse health effects. Unsurprisingly, our current Congressman remains silent about it. When I’m back in Congress, I’ll fight to stop data centers from coming to St. Louis, so that we don't repeat history and let our families and children suffer the consequences.

The U.S. already has 5,500 data centers that use 449 million gallons of water a day. They’re being built on farmland so in addition to taking away our water they’re taking away our food supply all for mass surveillance, AI slop, and to make billionaires richer.
