Michael Shanks at DragonCon this evening. "You are the IP." This is what #SaveStargate is all about. We want to ensure that when (and it is a *when*) Amazon does something with the Stargate IP, they consider the fanbase in their decisions.

If Stargate Universe was allowed to continue it would’ve been the Stargate Universes (pardon the pun) Battlestar Galactica. Hands down. The best Stargate of them all if they allowed it to continue to develop. Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis walked and ran so Stargate Universe could have a shot. I will never forgive the studio for cancelling this just as it got good. Shame. Wish Amazon MGM truly realised the GOLDEN IP they had at their disposal. Stargate fills a hole in Scifi that other shows can’t replicate and in an age of large swathes of people wearing their views on their shoulders be it politics or general views. Stargate managed to be progressive, action packed, funny, emotional whilst catering to a wide net of people. Stargate quite literally worked because it catered to all and let us all eat happily whilst not becoming preachy at all. Why can’t people see this! #SaveStargate

I’ve never been more passionate to save a franchise than Stargate. It’s quite literally one of the inspirations that got my into learning creative tools. It informs my style, creative choices and is a constant in my rerun collection I watch yearly. This show is getting my full attention. We will get this show back, we will get Martin Geros Stargate back. I feel it 🫡 Animation made in Blender. #Stargate #SaveStargate

This Stargate scene from “Hero’s” is my favorite in the entire franchise. The cinematography and flow of this sequence inspires a lot of what I do today. Wish we got more like this in Stargate but overall Heros part 1 & 2 is some of the best television I’ve watched. Don’t believe me. Go watch it yourself. #SaveStargate #Stargate

Stargate needs YOUR help! ✨This your daily reminder to keep asking Amazon MGM to reverse their latest decision regarding the show. Respectfully put out there WHY. We and MANY others want Stargate from the OGs Martin Gero Brad Wright 🇨🇦 Joseph Mallozzi 🏴‍☠️ who gave us fans HOURS of Stargate television over the years. The show WAS aimed at a broader audience. It was marketed as such in the initial video drop for the announcement. You can respect what’s come before and start a new. Stargate Atlantis did it. Stargate Universe got there in season 2. This team knew how to do what you needed Amazon? Executive musical chairs should not be the reason this got cancelled. It was fine before? Why not now? We need to bring this back! So NEW fans can enjoy this franchise with us. #stargate

Stargate means a lot to a lot of people. Amazon MGM Studios I really do call on you to actually communicate with the fans on this one. This isn’t a small franchise. In its 350 hours of television that accrued millions of fans worldwide. They deserve a little bit more respect than a PR drop in a Variety article. We and many others want Martin Gero Stargate and vision. We wanted the team that comes with that elite baller knowledge. Joseph Mallozzi 🏴‍☠️ and Co have been incredible bastions in community along with Dial the Gate | The Stargate Oral History Project and GateWorld.net #SaveStargate You had these guys on a video dropped on your channel with the promise of a show. What went wrong? Reinstating the Gate will happen. How and what it looks like? That’s down to you the IP holder after all. But without the fans and without clear communication on what’s transpired it’s a tough ask to get us to be excited again. Maybe you don’t care. Who knows. All I know is you had ungodly good faith from some the most critical people online. Not just fans. Come on Prime Video and Jeff Bezos reinstate the gate. Make this happen. One last time. #SaveStargate #Stargate

In light of Amazon's recent terrible decision to destroy the new Stargate series, with original writers and cast, which was made into 17 seasons and is considered one of the great sci-fi TV shows of all time. Here is the amazing Stargate SG-1 Intro Sequence. I'll never skip this intro. I used to hum it as a kid. #amazon #stargate

I always trusted Martin Gero Joseph Mallozzi 🏴‍☠️ and Brad Wright 🇨🇦 would strive to give fans the Stargate we knew and loved as well as a jumping on point for any new viewers to the franchise. I never really trusted that Amazon MGM Studios would actually let them. Make sure you let them know how badly they screwed up. Here is my favorite TV theme, may it inspire you to fight on to save the show Martin has worked so hard to get off the ground. #WeWantStargate #SaveStargate
