Doug Ford looking and sounding deflated on CNN today. He talks about wanting a deal to get done, how is that possible when we have emotional children trying to accomplish that? Carney pulling that stunt of walking away because of some items he disagreed with was a purposeful political move. He could have requested more time. No deal keeps the elbows up lunatics satisfied & distracted from the fact his Government still hasn’t accomplished anything meaningful for Canadians. The downward spiral continues.

This family booked a child’s birthday party at this water park for 200 people. Then they advertised it on social media and was selling tickets to their event at this park. The park caught wind of what they were doing and cancelled their event due to over 500 people showing up for an event booked only for 250 people. Was this fair or was it another motive involved? I can’t blame them especially if they aren’t equipped to handle that many people. In college we used to always go to this bar after class late at night around 10pm. That night a friend’s band was supposed to be playing there and we helped sell tickets for the event. There ended up being a misunderstanding, the bar said there was a max occupancy of 200 people, so the band assumed they could have sold 200 tickets. We sold all of the tickets, when we got there over 40 people were already there as part of the normal crowd. So it all 200 people show up that bought tickets there would be an issue as it would exceed occupancy. The bar owner was getting antsy because he didn’t want any issues if he exceeded occupancy and was in the verge of canceling the show. The band and the owner engaged in a heated argument and the band said the way he said it, he was implying it could be 200 people and that he should only have let people in that had tickets considering it was an event. The owner argued back saying and he quoted himself that the max occupancy was 200 and that he never gave the band a number for how many tickets that could have been sold. I think they could have both handled the details much better and they were both in the wrong. The show ended up getting canceled because of how many people was continuing to show up due to his cheap drink specials he always has that night.

My cousins and my brother and I were exploring Coney Island, we saw the sights, hung out at the arcades and before we went back to the apartment we decided to go and get something to eat, we had some money on us but not much so we decided to see what we could get at one of the vendors. This was back in the early 90’s when most of them had dollar slices of pizza wherever we went. So we got 4 pieces of pizza, should have been $4 because that’s the price we were used to. The guy wanted to charge us $24 at $6 a slice. We argues with him because one of my cousins already took a bite being so hungry. But at the least we owed $4. We gave the other slices back and refused them but had to pay for the partially eaten one, it was embarrassing that an adult would try that on a bunch of kids. We told our uncle what happened and he went back and yelled at the vendor. He was familiar with them because he used to get slices all the time from the same guy and he never charged my uncle that price. I couldn’t imagine paying that exurban amount, like this guy who was being charged $54 for a hotdog by one of the vendors. At first he thought it was a typo and it was $5.40 but the vendor. Learned it up when he said no it was $54. Would you have paid that amount? I would have walked away, clearly he was trying to possibly scam a the man for looking like a tourist. Part of the experience when visiting a new area is the street food but it’s becoming more and more a chore avoiding places like this.

This man was supposed to be watching his parents home while the were away. He didn’t think it would be a huge deal or maybe he just didn’t take it seriously enough. He locked up and didn’t come back for a few days. When he came back, he panicked, the whole house was flooded due to a pipe burst, there was drywall falling from the ceilings. Every inch of carpet was soaked. Needless to say his parents aren’t going to ask him to house sit anymore, has this ever happened to you, what would you do if you came back to this?

Brian Cashman is asked how aggressively the Yankees pursued a shortstop on the trade market: "We tried to evaluate all opportunities on the marketplace...with that being said, I don't think there were lots of opportunities that existed that were upgrades for us. We like the players that we have, and we like the players that we have on the come. Did we look to upgrade, engage on infield opportunities?...there was nothing we were able to find there. It was going to be a high bar. We do think that we have the players, overall, that can compete for a championship. We're happy that we were able to bring in Ramos and Garcia to solve some of the problems. We're looking forward now to getting the other guys back from the IL, to fortify and finish this off super-charged."

I remember taking a trip to Florida in my teens. We were sightseeing , new to the area. I was just enjoying the sun and the warm weather for once, I didn’t expect to see anything out of the ordinary. It finally hit me as we were enjoying a drink on the water, we see what looks like a floating log. Our friend who owned the boat said to keep our eyes open and don’t freak out, as long as we were in the boat we were fine. Just hearing that alone was almost panic inducing because he didn’t tell us what we were supposed to be careful of. When the “log drifted under the water, I finally understood what it was that we were looking at. Our friend had us piled in a boat on water infested with these gators. Being from up north, we didn’t see much of this. It made me believe I was in my own movie but I was going to be okay, I thought to myself if it was truly dangerous, our friend wouldn’t have brought us out there right? I stayed calm though, I never knew you could fish in areas that had gators, I assumed they would always go after your bait. All in all I would do it again, but I would never have taken anyone in the water and not tell them about the inhabitants, just in case they have a real phobia. Like I would never take my kids in there in case one panics and falls in. But looking back I’m thinking he may have been in the wrong for taking us there, would you take your friends in an area infested with these creatures not knowing? It’s a little messed up in my opinion but I’m over it.

The President has made his view clear, and we have a different position. It’s not resolved. We didn’t manage it. But, honestly speaking, I didn’t believe that was doable. We didn’t manage to change the American position. It’s clear that the President has this wish of conquering Greenland. We made it very, very clear that this is not in the interest of the Kingdom. For us, ideas that would not respect the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark and the right of self-determination of the Greenlandic people are, of course, totally unacceptable. Therefore, we still have a fundamental disagreement, but we also agree to disagree. We will, however, continue to talk. We have decided to form a high-level working group to explore whether we can find a common way forward. And we want to work closely with the U.S., but it must, of course, be a respectful kind of cooperation.

But what Donald Trump did was flood the zone with disinformation and misinformation, celebrating as if he somehow solved the problems in Southern California—somehow equating it to fire hoses and fire suppression. And again, facts get in the way. Narrative matters. Illusion so often rules. The challenge we have—and you know this—is that they dominate right now by flooding the zone and weaponizing misinformation and disinformation. They do it with an asymmetry in communication capacity that we have to address. You are addressing it, and we have to own up to it. We’ve got to build that architecture so we can compete in this space. Because what you just said is not commonly known by the overwhelming majority of people who voted for Donald Trump—people who actually believe that water was sent to Southern California, even though we know that demonstrably was not the case.

The Michele Tafoya Psyop — Are people really going to keep pretending with the county on the line, Michele didn't say "let's get back to normal", in reference to begging President Trump not to run again. What normal would that be Michele? Normal was corruption, normal was the status quo, normal was a dying nation. Normal was the Koch brothers and all the other special interests or lobbies. Normal was unacceptable, we don't need normal ever again, until normal is America 1st. It's just an embarrassment what has happened to America, Minnesota and maybe most of all Minnesota "conservatives", what have you conserved? What is "get back to normal" exactly Michele? I'll tell you "get back to normal" means the machine is about to test if Americans will fall for a semi well known face and name, from the sports world, to pull the Overton Window back to the center. I wouldn't be surprised if they used Minnesota, the cultural epicenter of American politics, to do just that and rig it for Michele. We all know she won't fight the power. Again, she BEGGED President Trump not to run in 2024. What are we even talking about? I'll be here whenever America is serious about saving this great country from dastardly, feckless, puppet politicians. We all know what needs to be done... question is do we have the fucking balls to do it. What normal would that be Michele? Normal was corruption, normal was the status quo, normal was a dying nation. Normal was the Koch brothers and all the other special interests or lobbies. Normal was unacceptable, we don't need normal ever again, until normal is America 1st. It's just an embarrassment what has happened to America, Minnesota and maybe most of all Minnesota "conservatives", what have you conserved? What is "get back to normal" exactly Michele? I'll tell you "get back to normal" means the machine is about to test if Americans will fall for a semi well known face and name, from the sports world, to pull the Overton Window back to the center. I wouldn't be surprised if they used Minnesota, the cultural epicenter of American politics, to do just that and rig it for Michele. We all know she won't fight the power. Again, she BEGGED President Trump not to run in 2024. What are we even talking about? They needed a Boeing 747 to be honest with you, because it was a lot of cash. 1.7 billion was taken out of the banks and given to Iran, and on top of that, tens of billions of dollars was made.
