1. They are not fully communist right? Do you want USA to be have govt like China ? One party one leader surveillance of all citizens always etc ? No freedom of speech . 2. Their family and schooling system better than USA. Parents retirement is their kids education. Parents are sacrificing luxury so their kids can get good education. Outcome accountable students with drive. 3. USA funded Chinese economy last 2-3 decades. Our laziness, over consumption and ability to just print money was their backbone. They needed the revenue from a capitalist country like USA to get to the stage where they are now. 4. Govt do subsidize a lot of research which I think we should do more . We do it but it’s so expensive and inefficient. 5. Most of their tech are built on stolen IPs from US tech companies. They protect their network by restrictions and lack of internet freedom. Tell me if these are not reasonable points. I hope someday I can understand the reason behind the hate for USA and rationale for supporting anything and everything that stands against USA.

Is this a joke? For starters, the Chinese don’t have the “most advanced tech on earth.” Second, they don’t have communism anymore. They gave up on that about three decades ago. They are still just as authoritarian, though. Third, how many people has the Communist Party killed? Fourth, are freaking kidding me right now?
