Because Huawei is a private company, that competed in private markets against other private companies, was managed in a private manner with hard-budget constraints, and was funded by individuals with their savings.

Huawei did not stem out of communism, the chinese model is a hybrid. I do not know how communism will make things better, itll only make it worse especially given the amount of corruption that has come out over the years.

They sell their products in capitalist countries and generate higher income and profit to reinvest into technologies. Their engineers etc likely studied in western countries. Their factory workers work under communist principles thus lowering the overheads. Not communism 🤷🏻‍♂️
