My Launch Day Mindseye thoughts. I’m playing on ps5 pro. I’ve experienced no bugs or glitches. Only time frame dropped was during a sandstorm. The driving is smooth and handles really well. Doesn’t feel tanky like other games. The combat is the highlight for me. The shooting feels so crisp and responsive and the adaptive triggers feel great. The movement is swaggy and the slide into cover is tuff. Had 1 crash but forbidden west and halo infinite also crashed on before so this is a nothing burger. This why I’m glad I think for myself and don’t listen to idiots trynna fit in and chase engagement on this app.

Most people that had similar issues as me are on legacy, so if you are on relative it might not work for you, but its night and day difference for me. Think one of the best examples of this are Tank controls in OG Resident Evil 4. RE4R didn't "fix" RE4's movement. The game was built around tank controls and even if they take some getting used to, it changes how you play the game. The limited movement adds tension and makes positioning more important. You can like one more than the other but their was never a problem with tank controls or fixed camera angles either. Just like there's nothing inherently bad about turn based combat.

I’ve just built MUST. MAKE. PAPERCLIPS. - A short incremental tower defense game where you defend your paperclip factory against hordes of irradiated mutant creatures in a dystopian wasteland. This took about 1 week+ to make. This game was started in Grok 4.6 in cursor and Fable 5.1 & Astra took over and finished it. Pretty impressed with how good Astra is with making 3D environmental objects and game UI. If you're interested you can play it on Wavedash (on desktop PC) for free: Fair warning, there will be bugs (literally) and gameplay is unbalanced yet so expect some crazy exploits that could break the game. Tell me if you discovered them! I will be doing more game balancing and bug fixes over the next few days. Oh and also, say hi to S.L.O.P. for me when you meet him in the game.
