Cancer is very good at stealing resources from the rest of your body - which is why people lose weight and become cachectic. This is terrible advice.

My spouse had stage 4 colorectal cancer, given 6 months to live. Went total keto, Serrapeptase and MegaZymes (must be taken on an empty stomach) to dissolves tumors. Apricot seeds (right dose) is a natural chemo. Turmeric, Camu Camu, nigella oil. Cancer was gone in 3 months.

Interesting to consider but would you be too weak to survive a month fast at stage 4?

What about fasting and fenben+ivm? Think the body could handle that amount of detox without food?

Before doing it, make sure you understand WHICH TYPE of tumor you have, and the metabolic pathways to it. Some tumors actually thrive on ketones more than on sugar, which is the dangerous part, and then metabolic understanding may be the key to unlock healing from another direction even. If your tumor feeds on sugar, or even on ketones+sugar, I really saw some interesting results with fasting, and it's worth investigating. Always make sure to understand your cancer type AS MUCH AS YOU can before going either way.

Lost my lovely wife to cancer. She refused chemo, radiation and surgery. I’m glad about that. But I regret her ever getting a biopsy to begin with. Dr.Berg’s info has helped me for nearly 10 years now.

The Siege Protocol Core concept: Attack cancer through 18 mechanisms simultaneously. Cancer adapts to single targets — overwhelm it from all angles. Three phases: PRESS (3-4 weeks) — Sustained siege Ketogenic diet + intermittent fasting (starve glucose) Block growth signals (berberine, curcumin, EGCG) Disrupt cell division (mebendazole) Deprive iron (IP-6) while loading membranes with DHA Activate immunity (Turkey Tail, AHCC, melatonin) Modulate pH (sodium bicarbonate) PULSE (3-5 days) — Maximum assault Load iron → hit with artemisinin → ferroptosis Remove antioxidant shields (apigenin, luteolin) Intensive oxidative attack (CDS Protocol C) Strict vegan (methionine crisis) CLEANUP (2-3 days) — Clear debris Senolytics (fisetin + quercetin) Binders (charcoal, chlorella) Liver/kidney support Repeat The 18 Mechanisms of Attack Energy Starvation 1. Glucose deprivation (ketogenic diet, berberine, mebendazole) 2. Glutamine restriction (EGCG, fasting) 3. Methionine restriction (plant-focused diet, glycine loading) Signaling Disruption 4. mTOR inhibition (berberine, resveratrol, fasting) 5. NF-κB inhibition (curcumin, cat's claw, honokiol) 6. STAT3 inhibition (honokiol, luteolin) 7. RAS pathway disruption (d-limonene, red yeast rice, delta-tocotrienol) 8. HIF-1α destabilization (mebendazole) Structural Destruction 9. Microtubule disruption (mebendazole) 10. Membrane destabilization (DHA loading → ferroptosis) Oxidative Assault 11. Pro-oxidant loading (CDS, artemisinin, melatonin) 12. Antioxidant shield removal (apigenin, luteolin — Nrf2 inhibition) 13. Iron manipulation (deprive → load → ferroptosis trigger) Immune Activation 14. NK cell activation (Turkey Tail, AHCC, IP-6, melatonin) 15. Macrophage polarization (astragalus — M2→M1) 16. Histamine blockade (cetirizine, famotidine) Terrain Modification 17. pH modulation (sodium bicarbonate — alkalinize tumor microenvironment) 18. Cancer stem cell targeting (sulforaphane, berberine, curcumin)

The newest research shows you'll only starve your body of nutrients long before you ever do any damage to a tumor. The same study showed increasing brown fat is far more effective to actually fight tumors. Fasting has benefits to prevent cancer growth, but it's not going to starve a tumor. If anything, your body will need energy and nutrients to help you fight during chemo or immunotherapy.

Cancer is a metabolic scavenger. It thrives on one thing: SUGAR. The Nobel Prize-winning Warburg Effect proves this. Tumors ferment glucose to grow. They cannot survive without it. I delve deep into this in chapter 7 of my book on my pinned post

I have cancer. I can’t fast for that long, since my body needs the energy from food to survive and fight back. I eat all organic, no sugar, lots of vegetables etc. I will stick with my protocol.

I'm also pretty convinced too that the primary effective mechanism of chemotherapy is that the patient becomes so ill from it that they naturally stop eating or vomit everything right back up, meaning the sugars and carbohydrates they attempt to consume never reach the cancer as fuel.

This makes sense to me. Conceptually, cancer is like a parasite feeding on the Human host. My personal experience is that if the parasite thinks you’re going to die, it leaves. Starvation simulates predeath in a way; it makes sense that energetically and spiritually that is anti-parasite. (As well as biologically, as you explained.)

yeah give your immune system zero energy. that should work great. i'm sure the cancer won't just figure out ways to consume other stuff like your own tissue.

1. Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) This is currently where the strongest evidence for improved survival exists. • The Study: A sub-analysis of a clinical trial (NCT03340935) published in the International Journal of Cancer and Cell Metabolism investigated cyclic fasting-mimicking diets (FMD) with first-line chemotherapy.  • Results: Patients with advanced triple-negative breast cancer who followed the FMD had a median overall survival of 30.3 months, compared to 17.2 months in those on a regular diet.  • Other Findings: The DIRECT-1 trial also showed that a 5-day FMD significantly increased the likelihood of a "pathological complete response" (the disappearance of all signs of cancer in tissue samples) after chemotherapy. 2. Colorectal Cancer Colorectal tumors are highly sensitive to glucose levels, making them a primary target for metabolic interventions like fasting.  • The Findings: Clinical trials (such as NCT04247464) have shown that fasting for 48 hours around chemotherapy cycles enhances the immune response against the tumor and reduces toxicity.  • Survival Impact: Preliminary data and reviews suggest that fasting may improve survival outcomes by approximately 20% in colorectal patients by activating autophagy and reducing tumor-promoting inflammation.  3. Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Fasting appears to work best for lung cancer when combined with either chemotherapy or newer immunotherapy drugs. • Mechanism: Studies indicate that fasting inhibits the IGF-1 axis, which helps "unmask" lung cancer cells to the immune system.  • Results: Research published in Nature suggested that 24–48 hour fasting cycles can substantially improve the body's response to checkpoint inhibitors (like PD-1/PD-L1 blockers), potentially extending survival in patients who might otherwise be resistant to treatment.

I usually get suspicious right around the point someone starts selling supplements. But hey, with 200+ cancers and four stages, why not pretend fasting fixes everything? 🤡

True. Cancer can’t survive if you starve it. But it’s most difficult unless supervised.

Big claims like this always need real medical guidance. Cancer care is complex, and what works depends on the type, stage, and person. Anyone facing it deserves evidence‑based treatment and a team they trust, not quick fixes from social media.

This is stupid. Think of the running from the bear analogy where 2 guys realize they can't get away from a bear. "I don't have to outrun the bear to survive I only have to outrun you" applies here. The cancer will just outrace your own cells for the calories leftover

Do NOT do this. My friend tried it and got so weak that they couldn't give him the meds needed to fight the cancer. So he died 2 weeks later. He was a skeleton. Follow your doctor's advice. Not some X post.

Wouldn't fasting just encourage the cancer to "eat" you...? You know, how fasting works. The body will get energy somewhere, and the cancer is a part of your body... Did no one in these comments take health class in school?

There is no possible mechanism or pathophysiological pathway, which could explain this being a viable option. A human being could never outstarve cancer cells. The body will die and at the same time, the cancer as well.
