Mm so, Slowing inflation ≠ falling prices! If your matooke was 10k last year, 12k now, even at lower inflation, it’ll hit 12.6k next year, still climbing, just slower.

True and elaborate, but that does not mean the current inflation index is healthy for the country's economy and so is the rate of price change which does not much the income per capita or average purchasing power. My POV

When inflation is said to be going down, it is such that more prices in a given basket are falling so that on average it’s a falling rate of change in inflation and vice versa. When people doubt inflation, they only mean to say same units of money buying less than previous years.
