He would make an excellent Wreckers movie.

I honestly think James Gunn would do pretty well with Transformers. A group of bickering jerks who don’t get really along but ultimately for close-knit unit is kind of the Autobots vibe.

There would also be a cut away scene to show that everyone in the bus survived.

all of these are making me appreciate early michael bay transformers even more now

Alright I’ll be the contrarian, if Gunn had dircected this the music would’ve 100% been better choreographed to the film, also the song would’ve been a better choice as well. On top of that it probably would’ve been more colorful with colors that fit the theme at hand.

So it would be color graded specifically like Superman, which had a very specific look, and not like ANY of his other movies, which look very different, and wouldn’t sync the music to the action or choose music fitting the action in any way, even though that’s like his #1 thing?
