Earlier this month he was driving to work when he spotted a car sitting in a ditch along Linden Road. He watched as other cars drove right past it. Randy couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. So he turned around in town, because he figured if it was just a fender bender, the driver would be long gone by now. They weren't. He walked up to the car and found a woman slumped over, unconscious, engine still running, doors locked. He called 911 immediately and stayed on the line, doing exactly what the dispatcher told him until crews arrived and pulled her from the locked car. He went with them all the way to the hospital, and the first responders told him something chilling: 20 minutes later... and she likely doesn't survive. TWENTY. MINUTES. His family calls him a hero.
