Although I've never worn shorts in my life because nobody wants to see my hairy stoat legs, dressing nicely is about far more than pleasing educated, cultured, erudite and style-conscious Ladies like Miss Dane. It makes me feel better about myself, not having to worry about meeting a dress code of any place I'd like to go and being able to fit in with any social group. There is a gritty, scruffy slovenliness that has overtaken much of the world, and dressing nicely means that you're part of the solution to that. In addition, it offers Gents as well as Ladies more concealed-carry options. I'm 6'3" and a good tailor can cut my suit jackets a bit fuller so the casual observer would never know I'm wearing a dual shoulder holster rig and carrying spare magazines. In social settings, wearing a suit jacket allows you the means to help a Lady companion to be more comfortable if she is feeling a bit of a chill in the evening by offering it to her. Nice clothes are an excellent investment in so many ways! 😃
