Now I was out for the day so I’m not caught up on everything yet, but have y’all heard this story about the Coast Guard and Noem? Holy shit. This is bad. Noem verbally instructed the acting commandant of the Coast Guard, Adm. Kevin Lunday, to pull the plane off the search and rescue mission so it would not miss the immigrant flight as part of the DHS’ so-called Alien Expulsion Operations, according to the two U.S. officials and the Coast Guard official. They lost a guardsman because of this. She needs to be impeached and jailed for the rest of her fucking life.

That visa will come with basic conditions, like being able to support yourself, having no criminal convictions, and speaking English. That’s not extreme, it’s protecting the public and respecting the taxpayer. And if Starmer thinks that’s racist , he’s really on the wrong side of the British people.

FEMA has the capacity to do top notch rescue and response. But not under Secretary Noem. She shut down the emergency phone system days after the floods. She sent only a few dozen rescue workers when the state had nearly 2000 of it's own people doing that work. A woeful response.
