Space provides the dimensions and volume in which matter exists. Matter (and energy) interacts with the fabric of spacetime. Genesis 1:1 The first verse in the bible. It's nice that the "wisdom of men" has finally caught up to literally the first verse in the bible. And of course, the wisdom of men, "science", is foolishness to God.
