In this clip Alex assumes that if God existed He’d reveal Himself equally to all people, rather than very strongly in some places and hardly at all in other areas with different cultures and religions. There’s a few problems with this but I’ll just state one for now: God could be revealing himself equally to all people and some people and people groups reject Him while others don’t. Take the ancient Egyptians for example… they saw direct intervention by God and didn’t worship Him afterward. Likewise, the Israelites also would often go back to idolatry even though they’d seen God do amazing things. It’s not at all obvious that if God reveals Himself to someone that they’ll start worshipping Him. I think Alex is assuming most people aren’t in active rebellion against God, when it could be the case that they are and don’t care about revelation. So when we account for the possibility that most people aren’t non-resistant non-believers, we shouldn’t expect there to be an even distribution all over the world of believers and unbelievers. We should expect some cultures to be facing God and others to be facing away from God, regardless of the amount of He’s revealed Himself to them.

One tiny cell of your DNA stores 3 billion letters of code, that’s enough information to fill about a thousand books. DNA is stored so compactly and efficiently that if we unraveled all the DNA in your body it would stretch to Pluto and back. When a cell divides and the DNA is copied, there are almost zero mistakes… only 1 per billion* digits. That’s like copying the entire encyclopedia Britannica hundreds of times without a single mistake. I don’t have enough faith to be an atheist. Do you?
