If you don’t extract the highest possible value from your product, good or service, someone will take advantage of you. There’s no vacuum in the market. Feel free to remain sentimental.

David Friedberg says if you want to bet on AI you should own Google ($GOOG) "If you want to bet against Google’s deployment of capital into infrastructure because you’d rather have them give you cash for your shares today, you shouldn’t own the stock. Someone else will buy it." "I think Google wins in a lot of different ways. There’s the consumer business, there’s also YouTube. There’s also GCP." "I think there’s no better suited enterprise layer than GCP to take advantage of capturing value with AI for that enterprise setting. You can run any model you want and you can run any workflow you want, and you don’t have to be tied in." "There’s also this portfolio of other bets, which includes 10% of SpaceX and a good chunk of Anthropic that they own, worth way more than $100 billion. They just went up $20 billion on Anthropic in the quarter." "The worst, worst, worst case scenario is they have the lowest cost infrastructure in the world to run other people’s models as a service, like Elon did with Grok and the Colossus."

Here is the deal that I will be offering to every major company and manufacturer on earth... I will give you the lowest taxes, the lowest energy costs, the lowest regulatory burden, and free access to the best and biggest market on the planet—but ONLY if you make your product here in America and hire American workers for the job! If you DON’T make your product here, then you will have to pay a very substantial tariff when you send your product into the United States of America! your original birth certificate has a stamped number on it. that's a bond number. that bond number is traded on the stock market. the value of that bond number on the market is your value to them - which is commensurate with the amount of wealth they have stolen from you. that's called your minor estate. you can bitch all you want about whether nesara is a real thing or not - I could care less. one way or the other, this will all be sorted out. if I know, you know. If you know, then you can bet your ass they know that we all know. ncswic is not a tagline. you can take that to the bank.

"Every software product you build, fate has already decided the outcome. The market is either going latch onto your product and run with it, or it's not. Do not ship a product, find a lack of success, and then try to market your way through that. Because the binding receptors likely don't exist. Once you recognize that the market is immutable, that no amount of tweeting, LinkedIn posting, advertising is going change whether the market wants your product, then you take a different mindset." — Matt MacInnis, COO/CPO at Rippling

Ben Horowitz on the two things every successful technology startup must do 1. Build a product that improves how some large group of people does something by 10x. “You have to build a transformational product. There is no way to build a great new company without a great product… If you look at the great technology companies, the thing that distinguishes them is the ability to keep coming up with a better way of doing things.” 2. Taking the market. “You can come up with the best product, but if you don’t [take the market], you really don’t have a company. Most technology businesses are network effects businesses. You have to win… If you’re an engineer, what business skills do you need to build a technology company? They’re all around the skills that you need to win the market. How do you out-market, out-sell, and beat the competition?… Do you build a good enough company that you go win?” Video source: UC Berkeley (2009)
