Jordan peterson on why it's so hard to sit down and study: 1. You sit down to study. your intent is clear: study. but you know distractions will flood in non-stop, and there's almost nothing you can do but wait them out. 2. it's not random noise. there are little subsystems inside you that want something else. one wants a sandwich. one wants a cigarette. one suddenly needs to clean under the bed. they pop up and fight you for control. 3. they get sneaky too. you'll start thinking "this is a stupid course. why am i even in university. what's the point of life." you can really get going when you're trying to avoid your homework. 4. so ask yourself. you took the course. you told yourself to sit down. why don't you listen? the honest answer is you're a mess. you don't have control over yourself at all. 5. and the less put-together you are, the less you run these systems and the more they run you. it can get badly out of hand. 6. you've felt it elsewhere. attracted to someone you don't even want to be attracted to. texting them late at night when you know you should be asleep. in the grip of something you can't control.

What's a game that was annoyingly hard (borderline impossible) but you went back to it and tried over and over again? My arch-nemesis was Ghosts 'n Goblins. I can't tell you how many hours I poured into it in the 80s. We played the absolute crap out of it, and it was so incredibly unforgiving. Yet we kept playing… again and again. What was your love/hate-relationship game?

Being Dominant means being the One in Control. Some people love it and some hate it, but either way, there is always someone in control and the areas where you are not the one in control, are where you have given that control to someone else! Being the one in control means being the one people TRUST to lead, to be in charge. And for us to hold that responsibility, we gotta be not only comfortable with that role, but to love it! To want it. Control holds negative connotations, yet if it is exerted by someone with positive intentions, it is very healthy. It means you trust yourself and don't need to rely on others to direct you. NOT being in control means chaos. It means helplessness. It means inability to make decisions. Or to take initiatives. It means you are the one that follows. And if that is what you actually desire you have to be conscious of that choice. Otherwise you fall into that role and then wonder why nothing goes as you want. And if you choose to follow, choose your leader wisely. There always is someone in control, someone in charge, someone that leads. There is always a power dynamic. Truth is, we feel safe with those in control. Especially when they show us that them being in that role is positive for us. But so many people trust others more than they trust themselves! Which means being constantly influenced by everyone else's option and advice... which makes then the ones in control of your life! Decide WHO you want to take control when you want or need it, but also choose when YOU should be The One in charge. Developing that self-trust requires radical self responsibility. Which is what people struggle with. Nobody wants to be responsible for anything. And then we blame everyone for why our lives are not what we want them to be. And if you DO want to dominate, start by controling your own Self, your own thoughts, your own life. You can't expect others to trust YOU if YOU don't. Think about it... those that are in control are the people that have the most influence in the world. So if conscious people who desire to create a positive change take more control/responsibility, it would literally change society as we know it.

🚨 THE BIGGEST ANTIDOTE TO CONTROL IS LOSING YOUR FEAR This is one of the most important messages from my conversation with Ivor Cummins. We can talk about governments, financial systems, propaganda, gold, silver and preparedness — but ultimately there is something even more fundamental. Fear. Fear makes people easier to control So I asked Ivor: how do ordinary people stop being afraid? How do we see through the smoke and mirrors, think independently and become more confident in our own judgement? His answer goes right back to the individual. Understand how your own mind works. Develop self-control and self-awareness. That creates greater awareness of what's happening around you — and ultimately gives you the confidence to influence others. You cannot control everything happening in the world. But you can control how you respond to it. And as Ivor says, changing the world ultimately starts with ourselves. Ivor Cummins

"You can either produce excellence or you can avoid criticism. But you cannot do both of those. The reason that you don't have certain excellence that you want is because you are afraid of getting criticized. You are afraid of the judgment that comes with it. You are afraid of standing out. You are afraid of being alone. You are afraid of people looking at you. You are worried about what people think of you. There are 2 categories of things in this world: 1) Things that are up to you 2) Things that are not up to you Which category does your reputation sit in? Your reputation is not up to you. I'm the one who associates your reputation with something, not you. You just do things. What's up to you? How you act. Your decisions. Your actions. That is up to you. Your reputation is not up to you. Here's how I know that: You all have a reputation about me and it's not in my control. I get to say and do whatever I say and do up here. I am in control of saying it. I am in control of doing it. The moment words leave my lips, who has control over what is done with those words? You! You are in control of what you think of me. And there's no way everybody in this room is going to think the exact same thing about me. No way. When it comes to exceptional, what we've got to understand is you can spend your whole life trying to avoid criticism and earn reputation, and it still won't be in your control. We can waste a lot of time missing out on excellence we could have been producing if we were just simply LESS trying to engineer what we wanted other people to think about us."

If you have money in a bank account, this one is for you. If you want to be positioned instead of warned, that system is a dollar in my bio. There is a financial war going on right now and almost nobody is covering it. It is called the Clarity Act. The biggest banks and financial institutions are fighting over it in Congress right now, because it decides who gets regulatory control over crypto and who gets to write that into law. Plain English, this is what lets crypto get embedded into the most intimate parts of our financial system. The same system your kids are going to grow up in. I am sounding the alarm. You either take advantage of this wealth transfer and use it to set your family free, or you get left behind. Learn this aggressively. The good news is we are in AI now, so all of it is accessible. We built research systems that research, buy and sell coins on your behalf. The cross section between AI and crypto is the most lucrative thing on the planet right now.

“As a country, we know ourselves as we are. What other lessons, then, would you still need, beyond what you have seen, what you have gone through, and the consequences of those experiences? To our young people, many of whom are here today, I ask you this: wherever you go in the world, whatever you see, whatever you admire, never think of trying to leap away from who you are and becoming something else you saw elsewhere. It does not last. And even if it did last, it would be like living without truly existing. This is rooted in what we believe, and this applies even in matters of religious faith, but it is also rooted in culture. When your culture is replaced by trying to copy what you saw elsewhere, it is destructive and it does not endure. We must therefore guard against that, and instead look for ways to develop what is ours, where it is not good, we change it and make it better, but always building on the foundation of who we are.” President Kagame | National Prayer Breakfast.

The War Against BRICS Larry Johnson: The reason we want regime change in Iran is to stop BRICS, to stop the development of this alternative financial future that does not include the US—or at least doesn’t give the US the control where it can tell everybody what to do. And then if you don’t do what we tell you, we seize your money, we threaten, we make it impossible for you to do international trade. Those days are over and Iran now is seeing a way to break free of that. This is to destroy Iran and ultimately destroy Russia and China. That’s the US goal.

"The control of humanity is very simple." David Icke points to Covid as a perfect example of how centralised control of information enables the mass shaping of public behaviour—and how obedience and fear both enable tyranny, while non-cooperation ultimately brings it down. "We behave as we do because we perceive as we do. And where does perception come from if you go one step back? It comes from the information that we receive." "If you control the mainstream media... and if you control the education system... then you have an extremely powerful position to feed information—much of it not true—to your target population, and therefore impose their perceptions of reality."

Catherine Austin Fitts: "[With] digital ID & programmable money...you're talking about complete control...[&]...we are in a political war between the mega-rich & everybody else. And the question [for] the mega-rich [is] how are you going to control the many when you are few?" This clip of Fitts, a former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, investment banker, and founder of the Solari Report (The Solari Report | Catherine Austin Fitts), is taken from an interview with Holistic Hilda posted to YouTube on September 26, 2025. ----------------Partial transcription of clip--------------- "My chief concern, if you look at what AI is good at, AI is very good at simulating anything that can be expressed mathematically. And of course, the thing we all know can be expressed mathematically are our, financial transactions. And the reality is, if I can track you closely where you're going and what you're doing, and I can get you on programmable money which can be turned on and off, then I can start to use AI and surveillance systems and algorithms to basically manage and control your behavior. "If I want you living in a 15 minute city, your money won't work beyond the 15 minutes unless you do what I say. We have a wonderful woman who runs our team Cash, and she says, what are you going to do when they show up and say either you transgender your children or we're going to turn off your money? "So what we're talking about doing is building a system that will allow you to be surveillance and tracked and turn your money on and off, or incentivize you or penalize you in a variety of ways with your money that can be integrated with your behavior. "So once you add programmable, all this stuff looks great. And there are many wonderful applications in theory, but when you integrate it with a digital ID and programmable money, then you're talking about complete control. And let me tell you why that's a problem. If you look around the world today, we are watching many different divide and conquer tactics used to cover up the real problem. "Right now we are in a political war between the mega rich and everybody else. And, the question is, if you're the mega rich, how are you going to control the many when you are few? The way you're going to do it was with programmable money. But programmable money doesn't click in and work well unless you've got everybody on the grid. You need to be able to track them, you need to be able to watch their behavior, you need to be able to influence their behavior. "And then you've got complete control. And that is not just wearables, that is not just an Internet of bodies. That is a coup d' Etat. That is the end of human liberty in the West."

If your shoulders are rounding forward and your head is sitting too far in front of your body, stretching your back alone probably isn’t going to fix the problem. Sometimes the issue is that the muscles around the shoulder blades aren’t doing their job properly. When they’re weak, underactive, or poorly coordinated, it becomes harder to control the position of the scapula—and that can affect how your shoulders and neck sit and move. So instead of only stretching, it makes sense to also work on activation, strength, and control. The goal is to improve things like: • Better control of the shoulder blades • More stability around the shoulders • Less unnecessary compensation from the neck and shoulders • Better control of movement in different positions And one important point: “strengthening your back” isn’t the same thing as improving scapular control. Even small details can change the exercise. The hand position, band direction, and kneeling setup here are chosen to encourage more involvement from the muscles that help control the scapula and support thoracic extension. So the goal isn't just to make your back muscles work harder. It's to teach your shoulders and upper back to move and stabilize better.

Dropping the CapCut Video Studio Behind the Scenes Series: Episode 3 - Taking Control. Working with AI is not just about generating ideas, it is about shaping them. Outputs can vary, styles can drift, and without direction, even strong concepts can lose focus. Taking control means knowing how to guide the process instead of reacting to it. In this episode, we follow creators using CapCut Video Studio and Dreamina Seedance 2.0 as they refine their workflows. From maintaining visual consistency to scaling outputs and steering style, it is about building systems that deliver what you actually want. See how control turns possibility into precision, and how intention becomes the final result.

I decided to repost this because I was blown away by the comments. It warms my heart to see how many different races that are on board with this problem. People are really waking up to true evil in the world and the effect it has on all of us. Love your race. Don’t fall into the trap of the media or Hollywood. We all know who controls that. They are 2% of the population and control over 80% of our government. Their goal is world dominance. If you are not them, their goal is to destroy you. WP..

Do you read a lot of books but feel like nothing in your life has changed? If so do this: Every time you finish a chapter, write down 1 key lesson you learned and apply it within the week. Keep it simple and aim to apply one lesson at a time. Trying to apply too many lessons at once can get overwhelming and cause you to give up on all of them. Remember the goal of reading is knowledge application NOT knowledge acquisition. As Alex Hormozi says, "If you read something, and your behavior doesn’t change, it means you didn’t learn anything." What do you think about this reading tip?

They want to control what you watch and say on the internet. They want to control what you eat. They want to control what you throw in the trash. They want to control where you are allowed to go with your car. They want to control every aspect of your life by telling you that it is for your own good and that of your children, for your health, or for the environment. If we agree to submit, how far will they go in controlling our private lives?

Saying "NO AI data centers" won't end in victory. They'll just build them anyways. If you truly want to make a difference, you need to say, "No data centers, UNLESS..." Turn it into a negotiation instead of a war, so we can fight over what really matters. No data centers UNLESS they're not draining our energy. In fact, you could say, "you want 10 gigawatts of power? Ok, YOU pay for it. And because we’re allowing you to do it, you have to produce 15 gigawatts of power and give the excess to the grid." It's a win-win and YOU control the terms.

Turn it into a negotiation instead of a war, so we can fight over what really matters.

Rory McIlroy shares one of his favorite mantras and mindsets. "One of the things that I love is focusing on the process over the prize." "I would say to myself a lot: 'Process over prize. Process over prize. Process over prize.'" "Just to take myself away from the outcome." Own the process and focus on what you can control. Then he mentions what happens to all of us: "I can get real caught up in the outcome. I just really need to remind myself that the outcome will ultimately happen if you just focus on the process. It takes care of itself." Everyone loves outcomes, very few love the process. It means focus, discipline, consistency, and relentless commitment. It doesn't matter what you want, it matters what you are willing to consistently do. (🎥 icanflypod)
