@Thinkinyagami She has one of the coolest powerup from a weapon, early is revealed that spear she assembled works as weights, so typical "goku took off his weights" scene right? Until it gets to this part where she turns those weights into that spear, she gains speed and range, it was so cool.

That’s why I love the fight design in the series. The coolest moments rarely come from raw power. Every time you think you’ve fully understood Mizu, the show reveals there’s another layer to what you’ve already seen.

Each episode was goated, and that tiny plot twist about the character’s gender was so interesting.

@Thinkinyagami The fighting isn't what made this show a cut above. Plenty of animation has great fighting. For me, it's how they handled her story. They resisted the typical inclination to fetishize her eye color (like Memoirs of a Geisha) & instead made it a negative mark.
