If you run any safety walkdown, show blitz, or manually move your safeties in this game, be advised. 🚨 They messed with safeties flipping their hips and running if you don't leave them at standard depths. Absolutely putrid change. #Madden25

(for those on the "Curl is slow" train, this also happens randomly with faster DBs, tested it tonight)

Lmao safeties in the box should get beat deep duh

Should there not be a downside to stacking all your guys so far down? Maybe not to this extent, but having players misaligned should hurt you in some way. Having great run and pass defense out of the same look shouldn’t be a thing

I’m going to disagree, I love this. I have wanted to see more of this. If you line up out of position you should be punished. If you bring them in the box you’re vulnerable to getting beat over the top.

@ClintOldenburg you guys just keep getting in your own way - if the goal is for offense to be brainless, just tell us

Don’t cheese blitz then 🤡🗑️

I don’t know where the happy medium lies, but in years prior there has been zero downside to playing your safeties at an extremely shallow depth. And short of making play action a dice roll to dumb out def players or giving chances for busted coverage a downside is needed

I like this change so ppl keep there safeties at the depth they’re supposed to be no team has safeties walked down the whole game in the nfl

W Change. Box Stuffers are Buttholes.

Cause playing your safety right over a lineman so the lineman blocks nobody while your gets back to play coverage still makes sense
