Deep cut nerdy baseball thought: Runner on first. Chandler Simpson hits a grounder. Could you argue that it's better to get Simpson out at first than to get the lead runner? They just released some of the footage themselves!! LOOK at how he talks to my cameraman. So condescendingly and I think he says “a fetch and carry boy” at the end. Does he mean “slave”? Last post on this I'd appreciate if people took the time to read it and share it because I think when people listen they deserve credit but TRNSMT have done more than that I complained about the disabled situation TRNSMT Festival and I think the fact that they listened and made changes is the kind of progressive attitude we need towards disabled facilities. I wasn't complaining to come across as some sort of Karen, it just genuinely would've been a health and safety risk. So I think it's only right that I commend them for the work they've done with the platform this year. The platform has many key things that I think make it the best at any festival I've been at. 1.Clear marked out lanes for people to move out to the toilets and back to their seat to avoid congestion and create space 2. A bar for disabled people beside the platform this is amazing. 3. Toilets well spaced out as well as a changing places toilets for people who more severe disabilities beside the platform. 4. Plenty of space in the toilets. 5. It's huge and you feel really close to the stage

One of my favorite things about our work at Spotify is to see and learn from users behaviors and to see what we can develop better. Just a few years ago, we noticed that publishers and fans in Germany were uploading podcasts and audiobooks to Spotify which really got us thinking about innovation within that space. Now, Audiobooks in Premium is officially launching in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. Your investment portfolio needs muscle I used to think strength peaks around age 30. For 99.9999% of people, that’s nonsense. The only strength that truly peaks early is for world champions. Everyone below that level can keep getting stronger for their entire life. Between 40 and 60, you lose about 1% muscle mass and 1% strength per year if you do nothing. But if you train, you can more than make up for that 1%. After 60, the decline accelerates. That does not mean you cannot train it back. Just look at the 70 plus world records. Those athletes are all far stronger than me. I’m 44 now and I just set a new PR: 3 sets of 6 reps strict press at 80 kg (176 lbs), with two minutes of rest between sets. This helps my investing more than you’d think. Muscle absorbs glucose. More muscle means lower blood sugar. Aging without training slowly pushes blood sugar up, which increases the risk of all kinds of diseases. A fit body is a fit mind.

"He told them he'd be back by dinner. That was 14 months ago." Every single evening, Max and Buddy walk to that back door at exactly 5:47pm. They don't know what a deployment is. They don't understand overseas. They just know his smell is fading from his old jacket on the hook. And they keep waiting anyway. My brother asked me to look after them "just for a few months." I didn't know I'd fall in love with two dogs who taught me more about loyalty than any person ever has. If you've ever loved an animal who waited for someone — you know this feeling in your chest right now. Drop a ❤️ if Max and Buddy deserve to see their dad come home soon.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, i think the Football Conditioning Test from Call me Keir is the one most coaches should be doing. 12 Max Distance Sprints / :05 ON :25 OFF Sprint out to the 20, Cut 180* (alternate), come back as far as you can before the whistle Things that can be tracked for this test: Total Distance - Best Sprint - Average - Fatigue Drop off - Right to Left Asymmetry The other thing that I love is that it rewards you for getting faster. When you raise your max sprint, your sub max efforts are now at your previous max sprint. You get in shape for this test by SPRINTING. This test can show you exactly where you stand. How much can you give for one 12 play drive? And every time we run this test, can you challenge yourself to give a little bit more? Special Shoutout to our Summer Intern Joel for putting his money where his mouth is and testing himself before camp! Looking forward to watching him have a dominant season!

Think you’ve got the diagnosis? Think again!! This is a case where the diagnosis is not as important as the lesson it teaches you. Watch the video and then check back for hidden portion of this post to see what the answer is... And what lesson you should have learned from it ! Avidly enhancing T2 dark lesions in the subependymal region with increased diffusion signal. If I said that description to you—even without seeing the images—you would say lymphoma! Was that your answer? It was mine! And we are both wrong! It turned out to be metastatic melanoma. But the lesson here is that just because you were wrong by pathology, doesn’t mean you were wrong on the imaging If I saw a case like this again, I would still say lymphoma! You won’t be right every time—there will be weird cases. But you are making a bet on the imaging appearance and you should always bet the odds—with the risk that every now and then you might be wrong! So don’t remember from this case that metastases can look like lymphoma—remember that sometimes it’s ok to be wrong as long as you read the case right
