I agree with the gist of his argument, but there are far less obnoxious ways to make it.

it‘s interesting to see people again and again fall for non-sensical arguments as long as they are presented in an entertaining and „polished“ manner 🤦🏻‍♂️

I just don't agree about the poor countries being the root of the problem. Of the top 10 CO2 emission countries (per capita or total), 5 countries are very rich - US, Japan, Germany, Canada, South Korea. Plus China, Russia and Iran (not poor). That's 8 "not poor" countries...

I totally agree with him about the UK contribution to the solution, but he completely misses the importance of raising awareness and understanding of the issue in the first place. It *is* a mistake to believe that activism is the end goal; Finding workable solutions is.

This is so wrong. It is consumerism that drives climate change. So although Britain might account for 2%, they indirectly account for much more. Honestly, get your facts right.
