I don’t know the truth about this particular case, but I have been a part of an institution like this, and I have personally experienced and witnessed discrimination based on caste—not only among students but also among professors.

Fake complaints should be penalized so at least people who file fake complaints will be afraid of doing so.

What is the harm in merit based system? Reservation is not an answer to kill caste system। It is creating more division n more n more ppl r asking for reservations as it is promoting mediocrity/Kakistocracy. Can't kill merit. Give access to education, don't force iit,jobs etc

Government should pass all sc/st students without exams. They cannot compete with general students if they have taken reservations. St/sc can go endlessly high but without reservation. What they will do after taking pseudo certificates.

How many students' deaths in 20 years? CBI should investigate deaths in all IITs nationwide. Every victim deserves justice. Supreme court must supervise investigation @EduMinOfIndia accountability , evaluation of all deaths of students in all institutions, colleges, Nationwide.

I'm a Bengali, so I can say casteism nearly doesn't even exist & it's true everywhere in Bengal. Ask any Bengali. We have one identity: Bengali. I only know about casteism becoz of reservations in JEE Main. As a Gen-Z, if I have 1% casteist hate towards someone, it's becoz of it.

I am sorry if you don’t know the names of students you are teaching. This is absurd. In both schools and colleges all prof knew my name and caste. Infact go and read articles where teachers r ordered go to class & literally collect data of SC/ST students.

Otherwise, the parents themselves admitted that yes, their son was cheating, and the student himself also confirmed that he was cheating, with others from the same classroom backing the same fact.
