Pritzker added IL will "stand in the way of an unconstitutional order" and "our local law enforcement will stand up for those law-abiding, undocumented people in our state who are doing the right thing. It costs $17k to force deport. - Fix legal immigration so we can bring in legal immigrants we need for jobs - Tone down the rhetoric. Tone down the emphasis on violent criminals. We know some illegal immigrants are violent. And most are not. - When all else fails, after a year or more, forced deportations with clear, advance notice.
