Chaired a meeting on financial planning of statewide urban infrastructure and civic amenities projects under the Maharashtra Urban Infrastructure Fund (MUINFRA). While reviewing the meeting, expressed that long-term planning is essential for basic services such as sewage, drainage, solid waste management and water supply in our cities. Separate plans must be prepared for each sector, focusing not only on funding but also on resource planning. Also highlighted that projects must not stall due to lack of funds and sufficient arrangements should be made to ensure their completion.
