China is a model of preserving, celebrating, embracing, and EVEN SPREADING minority culture. These are videos I took across several cities and villages in Xizang (Tibet) over the last week+. I visited a university, two high schools, a middle school, an elementary school, and numerous villages. What I saw blew my mind! Not only is Tibetan language being taught alongside Mandarin, Han students in Xizang are REQUIRED to learn Tibetan, and everyone at school learns Tibetan dance, music, art, and other local cultural traditions from the region. FACT.👇

Edullect Academy independent school is a "Muslim" school, which has just opened with a full time nursery and primary school in Havering. It appears to be a fee-paying faith school seeking state support, yet it has not been fully assessed against the required standards. Any state-funded school must promote Fundamental British Value democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and faith schools are generally expected to admit some non-faith pupils when oversubscribed. The real test will be the next Ofsted report. Expect more schools like this to emerge.
