At my second rally today, I moved from Nansana to Kawempe with Maama and the NRM leadership. I explained clearly where wealth and jobs come from: commercial agriculture, factories, artisans and services. I cautioned the youth against chasing illusions abroad. Real wealth is built where there is production. Even maize when grown on a large scale, creates jobs in growing, processing and trading. That is why, since 1997, we have focused on affordable capital to help Ugandans participate. This is the correct path to jobs and prosperity. I therefore urge our people in Kawempe to come out on the 15th January and vote for the NRM.
