“So when you first hear the words Digital ID, what’s your initial reaction?” We went out to ask the Public on the street what they think about Digital ID. Here’s a mix of what they said; ‘The vulnerabilities of Digital ID and how it can be abused. I’m not a fan of it, but I feel like, to a certain extent, it kind of already exists. Instrumental thing of authoritarianism, of the government using it against you in certain ways. I myself do not agree with a digital ID. It’s become, well, instrumental to a technocratic society. Then we asked them if they would sign The Together Pledge: ‘ I solemnly and publicly promise that I will not install government code on my phone.’ #scrapdogitalid Ellie Hodges

I’ve spent this entire campaign advocating for parental rights, free speech, and religious freedom. And I’m the only candidate to push back against mandatory Digital ID, a government-knows-best scheme to track your health records, travel history, and, yes, vaccine status. When I’m Premier, mandates will be out of the question, and mandatory digital ID will be banned!
