I'm amazed that we had the knowledge and tools to build such precision machines in 1918. This is footage from 1918 at The Handley Page works, Cricklewood, London of "aeroplane" and tank engines being assembled. amazing.🫡

.Secretary of War Pete Hegseth “This Southwest Border Medal—the Mexican Border Defense Medal—was established in 1918 to stop other incursions and invasions, so we’re not creating something new. We actually revived the exact same medal from 1918 to be given to all of you today as a reflection that this service is an extension—we stand on the shoulders of other great Americans who defended this nation...”

It’s not footage, but it speaks for itself. Audio is such a critical part of documenting war. The sounds, deafening in most circumstances, help us understand another layer of context to War. This is audio from The Great War at its conclusion, 11am on 11 November, 1918.

Footage of the first official test of the Mark VIII Tank, held in Bridgeport, Conn., October 31, 1918—the largest tank in the world at the time. A British-American heavy tank it was designed in 1917 as a joint WWI project. In theory it could carry 20 extra infantry inside. Well, the war ended and only 125 were built. Side note: I'm playing around with adding cut away diagrams and more information for some future posts, let me know what you think.🫡

Azerbaijan is once again making accusations against Armenia, claiming that the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Let’s now examine the Constitution of Azerbaijan. The Constitution of Azerbaijan refers to the 1991 Act of State Independence. This act mentions the Declaration of Independence of Azerbaijan from May 28, 1918, and the Act of Independence states that modern Azerbaijan is the successor to Azerbaijan from 1918-1920. The 1918-1920 Declaration of Azerbaijan indicates that the territory of Azerbaijan includes Southern and Eastern Transcaucasia, and in the map presented to the Entente in 1919, Azerbaijan laid claim to the territories of Syunik and Vayots Dzor in full, and partially to the territories of Tavush, Gegharkunik, Ararat, Lori, and Shirak. Unlike the Constitution of Armenia, the Constitution of Azerbaijan contains territorial claims against Armenia. How are we responding to this issue? Are we saying that Azerbaijan should change its Constitution? No, we are saying that there is already an agreed-upon article in the peace treaty, which, if signed, resolves this issue by noting that neither party can refer to its internal legislation to evade fulfilling its obligations under the treaty.

#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal: TMC National General Secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee says, "...I challenge - I give you 100 such CCTV footage from counting centres and let EC release 10 such footage. The footage of the entire day from counting centres, especially from 12 noon to 6 pm, be released. I give you a copy of the complaint that EVMs recorded in 17C and those brought to the table did not match. The serial numbers did not match...The machines were used for 12 hours but 90% of the machines had 92-95% charge. How is this possible?...This will be discussed in the party. We will form a fact-finding committee..."

WTF! Dr. Richard Ebright Says Fauci Funded the Reconstruction of the 1918 Influenza Virus by 'Exhuming Corpses From the Arctic Tundra' "Researchers obtained the full genome sequence of the virus by exhuming corpses from the Arctic tundra of persons who had been killed in the 1918 pandemic, extracting nucleic acids from the corpses and reconstructing the sequence of the virus ... And it became clear very early that the research had been funded by the NIH, by Anthony Fauci, and had been funded without having performed any form of risk benefit assessment." Full Interview: Dana Parish Richard H. Ebright

On this day in 1918, the Armistice agreement was signed, marking the end of World War I hostilities between the Allies and Germany. Signed on November 11, 1918, in a railway carriage in Compiègne, France, the armistice officially took effect at the symbolic hour of the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month. This agreement was negotiated after Germany's deteriorating military and economic situation forced it to seek peace. The armistice paved the way for the Treaty of Versailles, signed in 1919, which formally ended the war. This historic footage captures the celebrations in Paris in 1918. Armistice Day was first observed to honor those who had served and sacrificed in World War I. However, over time, with subsequent conflicts, Armistice Day evolved to recognize all military service members, not just those from World War I. In 1954, following World War II and the Korean War, the United States officially renamed Armistice Day to Veterans Day, establishing it as a national holiday to honor all U.S. veterans for their service and dedication.

We are excited to share this newly rediscovered footage from 1956, the only video known to exist of Gibson instruments being made during the 1950s Golden Era of electric guitars. It’s a powerful reminder of the craftsmanship and passion that continue in Nashville today using the same techniques and even some of the same machines. #FromTheArchives

This was such a powerful moment in Portland as the Patriots assembled at the ICE facility that Antifa continued to attack and had built an encampment. The Next night it was on!! We took the encampment out and ran Antifa off. The Patriots of Portland have kept it that way since. We felt Charlie with us! We are all Charlie🇺🇸
