i’m convinced there is a bug at play here, sometimes liquid glass is quite transparent and the effect is noticeable, and other times it’s very frosted. you can see it in photos pretty clearly

Here is proof for the 60 hz bug CS2 You can clearly see the fps and frametime are out of sync and even with 300 fps, the frametime is showing around 10 ms along with massive stutter. My monitor is set to 240 hz as seen in video. elias eugenio8a8 it's the same bug you guys talk about.

One of the coolest things about Samsung’s Frame Pro TV that further enhances the effect that it’s a painting is that when you get the remote and turn the TV on, sometimes it just doesn’t and keeps displaying art. Pretty cool effect!

HUAWEI HarmonyOS 6.1’s liquid glass effect is indeed the closest implementation to iOS 26 among all current smartphone operating systems. It looks genuinely beautiful. This may be one of HarmonyOS’s advantages. At least in terms of visual rendering, dynamic blur, transparent materials, and layered depth, Huawei has clearly shown that it has the ability to create this kind of premium glass-like effect. I am not trying to argue whether it is right or wrong for Huawei to follow Apple’s design direction. My point is that the ability to actually achieve this effect is impressive in itself. By comparison, other Android-based OS skins have not yet shown the same level of execution. The Android camp still has work to do.

There is a "flash" bug in the One UI 7 Beta1 animation. In fact, there are at least three versions of this problem. Samsung seems to have not found it, so it has not been solved. Thanks to an Android app called Liquid Glass, I can finally achieve an almost limitless Liquid Glass lock screen experience on One UI. It supports depth effects, lets you tweak all kinds of glass parameters, and even allows full font customization. You can use virtually any font you download, giving you an incredible level of freedom. The results are genuinely stunning. The biggest downside is that the setup is quite complicated. Adjusting the clock, in particular, takes a lot of steps instead of being something you can edit directly, so the learning curve is fairly steep. I really hope the developer can make the customization process more intuitive in future updates, and add more language options, especially Chinese, so more users can enjoy it.

My initial problem with Liquid Glass was that it was terrible for accessibility despite how beautiful it looks it certain places. There is literally only one way to solve this readability issue – make the glass frosted/opaque. And from the public backlash that Apple received it was pretty obvious that it was a matter of time before they made this change. The problem now is that when you make it opaque, it barely looks any different from iOS 18, yet it keeps eating up resources and draining your battery. 3 betas in, and I still feel like this design direction was a big mistake.
