I’ve just rewatched this video for a second time now 18 weeks later… This is unbelievably sad. In no way, shape, or form did this Orthodox gentleman explain the gospel of Jesus Christ. “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me HAS eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.” (John 5:24) Jesus cleanses us of all our sins and brings us from death into eternal life through his death and resurrection, not because we deserve it, but because of the great love with which he loved us. For some, this is hard to understand. “Jesus answered him, ‘What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.’ Peter said to him, ‘You shall never wash my feet.’ Jesus answered him, ‘If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.’” (John 13:7-8) Accept the gift of grace that God has given you in Christ Jesus through his death and resurrection, and you will be cleansed. You can have assurance. He’s offering it to you. ACCEPT IT! BELIEVE! The Christian life is not a selfish pursuit, constantly trying to save yourself or maintain your salvation. The Christian life is a life of assurance, constantly pursuing the salvation of the world. “If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.” (John 13:14-15) Jesus lived a perfect life, not to save himself, but to serve and save those who would believe in him. We are now called to follow him in this way of living: a life of sacrificial love, NOT for our own sake, but for the sake of those who are weary and heavy laden. The gospel gives us the CONFIDENCE to do this! I know I am saved. I want you to know that you too can be saved if you believe.

In the final clip that I’m sharing from this conversation, Todd Friel and Albert Mohler discuss what it means to be a Jew. Dr. Mohler calls Israel a “mixed body of believers and unbelievers,” which is bizarre. Mohler seems to be making a distinction between Talmudic Jews and ethnic Jews that are atheists. Yet, both groups reject Christ, so in what sense can the former be considered believers?! To be clear, the Old Covenant has passed away, since it has been fulfilled by Christ. There is no going back to it, now or in the future. A “believing Jew” that is still waiting for the Messiah has rejected Christ and needs to hear the gospel.

Williams, Professor of New Testament Interpretation, preached from Romans 1:16–17 and reminded us that the gospel alone brings life to dead sinners. It is not a message to soften or hide, but the very means by which God saves all who believe through Jesus Christ. Let us hold fast to this message and proclaim it with clarity, knowing it is the only hope for a lost world.

I came across this clip that has made me think deeply. If a man leading a “Christian nation” by Christian morals still says he doesn’t know if he’ll go to heaven, what does that say about the state of the church around him? Has no one told him the gospel? Not politics, not patriotism - the gospel. Christ said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). How can there be so many “believers” near power, yet no one bold enough to speak the only truth that saves? This is what happens when your spiritual advisor is, Paula White... a self-appointed prophetess who preaches another gospel and leads millions astray.

It is a miracle that the Book of Mormon came forth, but the real miracle happens when you come to know for yourself that it is true. That is what changes lives. It’s another religion….This is not Christianity. Catholic man says you must be in communion with the pope and be Catholic to be saved and you cannot have assurance otherwise. Let’s go to scripture as always friends👇🏻 John 14:6 “I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father but by me” -Jesus Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved". To anyone hearing this, the end of my video cut off but I wanted to tell you that repentance is a change of mind about who we are and who God is. He is Holy and we are sinners , all of us. There is no one good but God, we all sin and fall short. You don’t have to be who you are in your sin and that doesn’t define you when Christ can make you brand new, no matter what the world says you can be a new creation, your past can be washed away.. you can be a daughter (or son) of God if you put your trust in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation. Church people fail; they are sinners too but Christ will never fail us if we trust him.

Many Christians believe today that “it’s not Christlike to debate. It’s not Christlike to argue. it’s not Christlike to disagree with people. It’s not Godly to say that marriage cannot be between two men. It’s not Godly to call abortion murder… We must be known for what we are for, not against. We must keep the peace…” And this is why a lot of Christians are weak in apologetics. A lot of Christians are bad at arguing and defending the faith because they have believed that “we must always keep the peace and not voice any disagreements.” But whilst God commands us to not be quarrelsome - He also commands us to “destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). In 2 Timothy 1:13 Paul also says “Carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you.” In Acts 17, Paul ministered in Thessalonica and it says “he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead… And some of them were persuaded and joined Paul.” 📖 The word for “reasoned” in the Greek is ‘dialegomai’ and it means to ARGUE or to have discourse with one. And whilst arguing can be done in a sinful way, arguing itself is actually a virtue. Without debates and arguments, error abounds. Arguing is a virtue because it helps us hold to what is true - and discard what is false. Arguing is what separates truth from error and wheat from chaff. It’s time for Christians to get in some holy arguments. It’s time for Christians to get in some holy debates. It’s time to guard the precious truth entrusted to you.

In 2 Timothy 1:13 Paul also says “Carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you.” In Acts 17, Paul ministered in Thessalonica and it says “he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead… And some of them were persuaded and joined Paul.” 📖 The word for “reasoned” in the Greek is ‘dialegomai’ and it means to ARGUE or to have discourse with one. And whilst arguing can be done in a sinful way, arguing itself is actually a virtue. Without debates and arguments, error abounds. Arguing is a virtue because it helps us hold to what is true - and discard what is false. Arguing is what separates truth from error and wheat from chaff. It’s time for Christians to get in some holy arguments. It’s time for Christians to get in some holy debates. It’s time to guard the precious truth entrusted to you.
