My colleagues across the aisle just called our fight to protect Social Security “garbage.” I’m sorry—WHAT!?!? Our seniors, veterans, children, and people with disabilities are not “garbage.” And, neither is our fight to protect the programs we depend on. We don’t work for billionaires. We work for the people. And, we will continue to fight like hell for them.
