I'm glad Muhammad Mokaev made weight, but this interaction was interesting. Mokaev asked for the box, but Marc Ratner insisted that he didn't need it. Mokaev then made weight in just 0.2 seconds of being on the scale, even before the scale had settled.

Why don't coach's from their opponents come watch the weigh ins and protest this?

Yea similarly to a boxing weigh-in; not completely sure why they don’t do that, but the UFC never really has and don’t think they ever will. Mokaev has never had issues with making weight in his 6 fights in the UFC, so I’m sure he would have been fine on the scale - just a strange interaction by Ratner.

A bit sketchy… Mokaev wasn’t even standing still when they weighed him and looked surprised to hear he’d made 126 🫣

I don’t dislike him, but he got in some tricky situations with some mid level guys. I honestly think Kape is gonna starch him

between this and the last weigh in, when he looks like he even surprised himself that he was on weight. you have to imagine he doesn't have many fights left at 125 pounds

Ah, the ol' Khabib in Abu Dhabi weigh in technique. Classic.

Could think of a few reasons in why it may be a good idea to take the extra 30 seconds.

Honestly looks like he wasn't 100% sure he was going to make the weight
