Another thing I found really neat in this Card Captor Sakura game was the little card "screen" they made with sprites to show Sakura's fight while you play as Tomoyo! It's such a creative way to give the player a pseudo-time limit!

When making a dog game, one of the monumental questions is Can You Pet the Dog? In Tailgate there’s a slight problem with that, because, well, YOU are the dog. I was thinking about making some “scratch-zones” and “rub-stations” which may still happen in game. But meanwhile, you can scratch “yourself” in the pause menu without breaking the immersion too much. #indiegames #adventuregames #dogs #petthedog #Tailgate
