I know a health inspector who would inspect ice machines whenever restaurant management was rude to him. The result is almost always an instant fail

If you really want to be safe, stop eating outside all together..

So ridiculous restaurants should be held to a higher standard. Should be in jail for serving that to people.

I serviced ice machines for years and that is actually fairly clean compared to what I’ve seen. Restaurants, convenience stores are all the same they refuse to pay to have them serviced regularly. Bars are the absolute worst. NEVER get ice. Here is something better, just don’t drink soft drinks they are absolutely terrible for you.

follow my direction, always ask for no ice. We don't live in medieval times anymore. Drinks come out cold already without ice

@Reversemocking1 I tried telling ppl this YEAAAARS ago- before TikTok was a thing. Add this to the million and one reasons why you SHOULDN’T eat or drink ANYTHING outside your home, but yeah, consumers are going to consume 🤷‍♀️

Luckily when I worked at Chick-fil-A we would clean our ice machine regularly. Unfortunately that’s not how every restaurant operates. Which is woefully unsanitary.
