Have children, men. Lots and lots of them. Your relationship with them, and the legacy they will carry, is by far the most valuable possession you will ever earn.

“We don’t take any days off out there and enjoy every throw because you never know.” 🕯️RIP Cory Wiederin

I used to scroll past these because I didn’t want to be sad. Now, I almost always pause and watch. What a great reminder to go love on my kiddos. There was nothing this Dad and his boys would rather do and what a tribute to his life to keep making those memories.

brb gonna go hug my kids.

Man. That one hurts. And yet 1,000s of dads who ignore their kids or don’t value the time they have them are alive and well.

That is heartbreaking 💔🙏

I'll never forget playing catch with my Dad. He would run me for hours. I was lucky, I have a real good Dad. Looks like these boys do too.

"Dad...wanna have a catch?"....Field of Dreams. TY for this video, gut punch but a beautiful tribute.

Fuck.... how can life be so beautiful yet seem so cruel at the same time...

Jesus... this is brutal

Why would you do this to me so early X

This is a tough one to watch. But what a powerful reminder to love your family and cherish each and every day.

FUCK man…..

Wow. I remember the last catch with my dad. May 2006. Make the memories.

I was good until that 1:50 mark

Somewhere, down the timeline, waits the last catch. We may not recognize it when it happens, but others will remember it after the fact.

There is something special playing catch with your Dad!

I'm so glad you recorded everything on video, it will become one of your most beautiful memories. To be forgotten is the truest form of death. May God bless you and your family.

Cory Wiederin, a 43-year-old Iowa father of two, passed away from rare kidney cancer on January 14, 2026, after completing a touching pledge to play catch with his sons every day for a year. Beautiful memory, thank you for sharing.

😭💔🙏 God Bless this sweet family! What an awesome Dad!

Oh my goodness. Heartbreaking.

As a Cubs fan who loves Field of Dreams and lost her dad 20 years ago, this guts me. Bless this family.

I’m so happy the wife captured these moments…the boys will always sit and watch

Well, I wasn’t planning on crying this morning.

Bro that messed with me... I had to leave the office for a 5 minute walk

His family keeps going to honor his legacy. Very touching.

That one hurts........🥹

Cory was an exceptional CRNA. I worked with him in the OR & he was a great coworker & loved his kids.

I felt this one deep. Those poor boys losing thier dad. Bless this man’s soul and bless his family

WOW!!!!!!

Dusty in here for sure.

Being another Cory, this makes me feel even more connected to this man. God bless his family and may his sons carry on his legacy forever. He looks like he was a great dad 😢

you got that right😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Just to prove no amount of time or money is worth skipping out on family time! Man tear jerker

Do not recommend watching this on a plane.
