It is infuriating that fully grown adults genuinely believe modern Israel represents some kind of cosmic or divine power. Even worse is how politicians dress up raw political agendas in fake "divine renewal" rhetoric to manipulate the religiously gullible. Religion and Christianity in particular has been used as a tool for political control for thousands of years, and this exact kind of rhetoric proves nothing has changed. We need to have some actual pride and stop bending over for the highest bidder. Enough of the bootlicking. Wanting open markets should mean building self-sustainability first, and then trading off our surplus and strategic minerals on our own terms.
