I'm not sure Mareca is going to deploy him regularly as a holding midfielder going forward (though he's done fairly well in an unfamiliar role and bossed it, I still would've preferred someone natural like Nico G. We could've killed the game early). That said, Guehi has a brilliant... footballing brain in possession. He knows his passing options well, scans effectively both before and after receiving the ball, and associates seamlessly with players around him in any zone you place him (whether at the back or in midfield, as Maresca opted to do today). He could've bagged a couple more than the one goal he scored, (as a CB too cause he’s got a knack for them). I'm still unsure whether he'll be utilised there going forward, or if this was a one-time experiment, especially with Bouaddi also arriving. But overall, a good performance from Guehi.show more

🚨 Ben Stokes explains the difficult decision to move on from James Anderson 🎙️ " Jimmy is undoubtedly the greatest fast bowler we've ever produced, and probably will be for a very long time. What you and he achieved in terms of longevity is just incredible. We asked Jimmy to come in. I was actually supposed to be in America, but I couldn't get my visa, so I thought, "Well, I'm in Manchester, so I'll come and do it as well." ( About Conversation) It was a tough conversation because Jimmy was still a top-class bowler. But we were looking to build a bowling attack for Australia, and we just didn't feel that Jimmy was going to be part of those plans. Rather than holding onto Jimmy and then going to Australia without him anyway, we wanted him to leave the game on terms that felt right to him. I'm sure there was resentment. I'm sure there was disappointment because it wasn't an easy thing for someone who's done so much for the game to hear. But the game moves on from people. It moved on from you, it's moved on from me, and it always will. That shouldn't take away anything he's has done for English cricket

Imagine seeing your uncle in this state. Of late my uncle has been feeling unwell and he was referred to having a surgery . But hope he heals .Today at 3 a.m was the time we took him for the surgery and that was the preparation before the surgery began. We have not got any news now whether they have finished and whether it became successful or not. But I think it will be successful and he will be back to his normal life after a couple of weeks .

The confusion about whether former Eagles OC, Kevin Patullo, was fired or not isn't that confusing. They never used the word fired. In short, they care about him, value what he has done for the organization, and are allowing him to weigh his options and decide if he wants to come back in a different role. Philadelphia, & their entire front office, are a class org. They value people, respect them, and treat them right. They also know what he has meant to their 2 Super Bowls runs, despite not working out at OC. The players who praised him all season and after the wild-card loss do so with sincerity. It is not lip service or professionalism. They genuinely respect him. Almost every player was asked about him after their loss, nobody wavered in their praise for him. Nick has explained what they are doing, and the players have expressed their role in the season's struggles. Below is from right after the game.

NEW: Recently released January 6 footage shows one of the J6 protesters flashing something as he appears to be leaving the Capitol building. Many online are suggesting that the item he is holding is a badge and that he is a Federal agent. The man in the video is Kevin James Lyons and he was sentenced to over four years in prison. Lyons admitted to taking a wallet from then-Speaker Pelosi's staffer as well as a framed photo of Pelosi with late Congressman John Lewis. Lyons was an HVAC technician and was arrested in his home state of Illinois just one week after J6. On the evening of J6, Lyons shared a photo of the picture frame he took with his friends and said: "I'm pretty confident I am now a multiple Federal felon." It is very unlikely that the item he is holding is a badge and if it is, it is probably one that doesn't belong to him. Source assist: Brick Suit

UPDATE The man in the video has now come forward and provided the following video to explain what he brought into Mitch Sylvester's store. Information that I have received includes - He avoided calls from the RCMP for several weeks - He left the store with the item - He is claiming it was just a misunderstanding - The RCMP still has an open investigation - Charges could still be filed - There was one item, not two as previously reported If this was infact the item he brought into the store along with his "This is for Mitch" message, this is hands down the dumbest thing anyone can do to the employees of the store, and to Mitch directly. There still is an active investigation as showing staff a bullet, or a pen that looks like a bullet, uttering a threat, and not responding to the RCMP for weeks, is still grounds for criminal charges. Thank you to the dozens of people who did recognize the man, and provided tips.

"You cannot expect a 15-year-old to be Sachin Tendulkar on day one!" — Laxman Sivaramakrishnan on Vaibhav Suryavanshi🚨😡🗣️ "Once you decide to play him, you have got to give him ample opportunities! Remember, he is an investment for the next 20 years. What Vaibhav needs right now is a lot of support from the coach and the captain. Even if he does not do well in a few games, he should be backed. He should be continued! There is absolutely no point in blooding a youngster and then giving him a break or resting him. He doesn't need rest—especially as a batter, he doesn't need a bowler's fitness parameters. Give him a fair, long run in white-ball cricket!"

Everything Ian Wright said is 💯 spot on. This is Jack Grealish coming out of a pub, extremely drunk while having a bad run of form, you hardly heard anything about it, but hell breaks loose the moment Rashford goes to a club, or the moment Pogba changes hairstyle, that’s a problem. We don’t even hear stories of Jude going to the club but he still gets hate. Look at how well Rashford is doing in Barcelona with no noise around him, you and I know it won’t be this peaceful for him if he stayed in England. Sancho went to Germany twice and did well both times, but was crucified every time he played in England. This is why Jude Bellingham chose to play outside England as well. The English media aren’t ready for a black star.

🚨 Ajinkya Rahane revealed the story behind his decision to send Yashasvi Jaiswal off the field. 🗣️ " I sensed the situation and also I felt it was going out of hand, both the players were going out of hand and it was my responsibility to control my teammates. You respect the umpires, the officials who are on field, who are controlling the game, who are officiating the game and also the situations. Mistakes can happen to anyone, but you, as a player, you be in that limit. So, I sensed the situation, what can happen next, it was my instant reaction to send him off the field. As a player, I also felt that he must have felt bad, I said, okay, if he felt bad about me, it's okay. But I think, that point in time, it was a good thing for him. The thing which I told him about, go in from the back, put ice on your head and come back "

Stenavich says the Packers will use a running-back committee early while still aiming to get MarShawn Lloyd the ball. Adam Stenavich: “I think, as we go, it's going to be running back by committee for a little while, just to kind of see where everyone's at. So I'm not going to say, X amount of touches or anything like that, but we definitely want to get him the ball. He does have explosive ability and playmaking ability.”

Jude Bellingham In a recent interview, Andy said that he doesn't dislike Messi as a person, but he dislikes the way some people treat and praise him as if he were a god. Interviewer🔊: "During the recent FIFA World Cup, you and Messi nearly confronted each other on the pitch. What happened?" Jude Bellingham 🗣️: "Messi acts like he owns football and believes he's above everyone else. As far as I'm concerned, he's a cheater. During that match, one of the Argentina players clearly fouled one of our teammates, but instead of leaving the decision to the referee, Messi started acting like the official himself. That's when I stood up to him and said, 'No one is king here, and no one is above the rules except the referee.' I wasn't going to let anyone intimidate us or control the game. Football should always be decided fairly, not by reputation or influence. Thank God Argentina didn't win the World Cup. If they had, it would have been one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life this year."

And, the way you always keep the most important person for last, the fact that the apogee of his acceptance speech was about Connor.. he had me sobbing, cause of how completely unguarded and raw Hudson is here. The way the emotion is slowly building up, as he is going down that list, his voice cracking a bit, his hands shaking. And he can feel it slowly, tears forming in his eyes, tears he is holding in the best he can. As he is holding that award, so firmly, that last name on his list, the one that felt like an awakening. He is the one he'd want to hold right there (or rather be held 🥺). The one who is more than a scene partner, more than a best friend, his "emotional support person in life", his "soulmate", his anchor even. Cracking a joke or two to try to release a bit of pressure, but when comes the point of saying his name "to the honorary Canadian Connor Storrie, I share this award with you." and not find his face, his eyes, his smile in front of him, the absence is screaming in his chest and the tears are closer than ever. Cause to be here, and for that to happen not side by side, like everything they've experienced for the past year or so, this doesn't feel quite right. "A single person is missing for you, and the whole world is empty" So yes he got through that speech without crying (barely), but not without beautifully opening his heart up to us before, and showing just how much he loves him 💓

#MHA I'm pretty sure y'all can guess who's in the quotes making excuses for his bullying and abusive behavior not getting addressed by adults. Notice how the majority of my criticism in that post isn't towards Bakugo's arc but instead the teachers. There's no reason his "fans" should be getting offended for Bakugo like I'm undermining his amazing character development or something. Infact him getting a sit down talk back in S2 would've made his progression even more natural and cohesive. Instead it had to happen after a huge fight and only then did All Might finally talk with them...in late S3 At least he acknowledged his own failure as a teacher in that moment for neglecting Bakugo, better than Aizawa who's actually been a teacher for a while lol. Also idk what tf that dumbass quote was talking about "Y'all just pissy because his personality didn't make a full 180 fast" as if that was mentioned anywhere in my post lmao Btw full grown adults who are responsible for the safety of kids allowing one of them to physically assault another unprovoked because it was part of the exam for them to get "along" is not a good counterpoint especially when no one talked to him about it afterwards. "Oh but Deku got him back with a punch" really...we're going down to that level. Don't even get me started on how Mineta is still around

There’s an interview Pep gave during the Club World Cup where he spoke about Pep Lijnders. He said Lijnders “opened his eyes” in a short period of time and that he’s been “drinking knowledge” from him, just as he has with his other brilliant assistants. A lot of people take that at face value or underrate the impact Lijnders has clearly had on Pep. Some around the club didn’t even want him in the building at first. But that impact doesn't hide. You see it in how they interact. It's there in every little shared celebration after a big goal, like they're dialled into the same wavelength. It’s a proper football connection. We should be more grateful to have him.

Matt Ponatoski will soon have to decide whether he’s heading to the MLB or will suit up for Kentucky football AND baseball. 🏈⚾ “I’m going to be fully prepared to go to school and go be at Kentucky and enroll and go compete for a quarterback battle when I get there. But at the same time, like going and putting my best foot forward to these MLB teams and showing them like I have what it takes for you to draft me.” Ponatoski on where he is at in the decision-making. “It’s one A and one B,” Ponatoski said. “I’m going to go have a great career at Kentucky, or I’m going to go be a professional baseball player. It’s like you can’t draw it up much better.” The MLB Draft will be taking place July 11-13 in Philadelphia and Ponatoski will soon have to make a decision in a few months. 😼 #BBN

This one hurts me deeply 🥺💔 I'm not sure where to start but Rachaad White 1️⃣ has been my main favorite player over the years ever since he got drafted by the Bucs. If you didn't know, I'm the biggest Rachaad White fan in the world. One day back in 2023, I was at Bucs Training Camp and I took a vid of Rachaad practicing and tagged him on X. He then commented and said if I needed anything, just reach out to him. So a month later I did and he reached back out to me and I met him at pregame before the Bucs preseason game against the Ravens, it was truly one of the best days of my life. Then a year later, I reached out back to him to see if he could sign my Rachaad jersey and he did, another one of the best days of my life. He's truly a man of his word, a down to earth guy, a great guy on & off the field, and like I always say how can you not love him. Every single home game since before when the players come out the tunnel, you can only hear me in my section screaming, “RACHAAD WHITEEEE, LETS GOOOOOOO WOOOOO" and now I'm going to miss that 😞💔 Rachaad's also the reason why I started listening to Rod Wave 😂😂 I know players come and go but this one truly means a lot to me. 🙏🙏 I never saw the day you would be in a different uniform man 😢 I'll miss all the good memories, touchdowns you had in front of me live or on tv and I'll miss seeing him in a Bucs jersey running on that field at RayJay. 😭💔 Thank you for everything you have done for me and for the Bucs, Rachaad, good luck on your next journey 🙏🙏 I love you my guy and much love, UNO 🤞🏻🙏❤️1️⃣ #WeAreTheKrewe (my photo and videos)
